As far as I'm concerned, rap is dead to me. Been dead since the 90s at least; Paul's Boutique is probably the best it ever got.

Anyway, I don't listen to the crap that's out there these days (meaning: since 1992). But I'm learning this Jay-Z bit in that Beyonce song.

This shit doesn't even rhyme or scan. What the hell? That was the ONLY things rap had going for it. Now it's just ignorant babble.

I enjoy some raps. I can sometimes be seen listening to rapping. But usually it is some otherwise melodic tune "featuring" some rapper.

For example,
