I'm getting rerouted to a spam site A LOT when visiting here. Anyone else seeing this? My spam blocker is blocking it, but that just means I'm looking at a blank screen and still have to hit refresh a lot to see the site. It's only happening here. All other sites load fine.

Yeah, for the past 2 weeks or so. Unsure why.

I'm seeing it a lot too.

I think, if memory serves, it has something to do with the host.

It's definitely a host issue. But things are still connected to Steve's account, so I'm not sure how to debug yet. I'll get time for it eventually.

Made a DNS change today. Maybe it will help, maybe it will not.

(Early signs say maybe not)

Page response is a lot faster. I'll keep you posted if I see any error pages.

The A Name for dtman.com and www.dtman.com were different IPs, which seemed odd. So I switched dtman.com to match www.

That definitely could have done it.

BTW, your fix didn't work right away because it takes 24 hours for such changes to propagate around them thar interwebs.

Yeah, TTL on the DNS was an hour, so it took at least that long... forgot about that in the moment

Noticed the site's a touch slower this evening, and the DNS issues might be back.

Hopefully, it's just the host having temp issues.

Probably host. It's not as common as it was previously.

Working great tonight. I wonder if it's noisy neighbor issue on a shared web host.

Perhaps. But I also see things being blocked by uBlockOrigin when it's slow/failing. As if something is trying to redirect. When it runs smooth, I don't see the blocks.
