More CGI than I like, but I liked Prey, so will give it a shot.

Hell I liked "Predators." It felt fresh for the franchise to have humans who weren't just scared shitless the entire time.

This was Predator made by Nickelodeon.
Dek, a Predator, gets sent to an incredibly hostile world to hunt a specific creature or never return.
Here's the thing, Dek is a runt. He's like a midget Predator. Maybe not that small, but he's tiny and this hunt means everything.
Along the way, he's going to learn about family via an android, an eel, some vines, and a dog-like thing that they probably hoped would sell plushies.
This is a Predator film in name only. Bullshit canon is created to give Dek backstory, and if you give it a moment of thought it doesn't make sense. The best part of that is they, literally, say that much in the movie.
It's fine overall, but it's an action adventure family film, not a Predator film. I'm not convinced this wasn't made by Disney.
Oh, and Elle Fanning is the best part of the movie. She clearly had a lot of fun.
