Since I introduced chicken droppings into my outdoor ecosystem, I try to never wear shoes in the house any more. I let them freerange most evenings.
Before I didn't really care.

Speaking of fowl, be extra careful around goose shit. It's extra toxic and SUPER toxic to pregnant women.
You probably all know that, but better to be safe and all that.
