Didn't you guys see mythbusters. I would take the house feed lines to be electricuted in that much water. It's still not very bright.
I did see Mythbusters, all I remembered was that it was possible to die in the bathtub from electronics.
Provided it doesn't've that handy thing which prevents shorts in such cases.

Ground fault interrupter. GFI. The breakers in a fuse box are kind of the same thing just not as sensitive. A pool is a whole different story than a bathtub.

So the real moral of the story is don't pee in the pool and you just might survive electrocution.

I don't put 100% stock in the things Mythbusters "prove". I have seen them perform shady experiments to reach conclusions that they seem to want.
I'd like to see those guys in that pool and have the power strip get submerged. That's how we'll know if it's safe or not.

Appears it does happen but sounds like the people almost have to be in direct contact with the source. Her brother was swimming but wasn't shocked until he made contact with her.

Nah, I have both still.

I like the Mythbusters, but they do often have holes in their methedology. I don't think they're fudging on purpose, I think they just tend to be a little sloppy and to go for a good show over solid results. But they're reasonably correct more often than not.
