If he wins a championship, I'm guessing they'll change their minds.

Leonard to the Raptors.

DeRozen is pissed.

This is a big gamble for Toronto. I have a feeling it won't pay off.

More on the unhappy feelings in the Spurs-Raptors trade.

DeRozen is livid.
Lowry, the Raptors other star and DeRozen's best friend, isn't happy with the deal.
Kawhi doesn't want to play in Toronto.

Wow. What a clusterfuck.

Butler is refusing to practice or play for the Wolves this year.

This shit is out of control. Butler, LeVeon, Earl Thomas, and the list goes on for a looooooong time. These guys signed contracts. Live up to them. They want to get all the money they can, but refuse to live up to the contracts they agreed to play under.

It'd be interesting if all sports went to performance based contracts. Yeah, you'd get a base, but it's the same for all players. After that, the big money is in performance. Think about how much better games would be if everyone was playing for their paychecks.

Yes and no. "I get an extra $10k if I make a shot? Only $4k for an assist?"

And how do you measure the players who "make others better" and all that jazz. Ostensibly, the market can do that better than contrived metrics. You'd need a mix of individual performance, and team performance. But, included is the notion that players could change teams every year?

Oh, I fully understand the drawbacks, but there has to be a better system than the current one.

At the very least, teams should have the ability to get their money back for players who sign big deals, then half ass it. Albert Haynesworth would be exhibit A.

JR Smith told to cover a tattoo all season.

It's a brand logo. Why the fuck would you get a fucking brand logo permanently drawn on your skin?

Why the fuck does Kyrie Irving have a Friends logo tattoo?
