I started to. Read for a while (it's way long). I didn't see a point coming any time soon and lost interest. Started skimming, looking for the point. I just kept seeing "You are racist".

I can agree, somewhat. We ALL (everyone, no matter what race they are, including the writer) have prejudices. I would label many of them as bigotry instead of racism though. Is there a difference between bigotry and racism? Anyway, again, sure, we all have 'thoughts' that would make us all racist. But again, what's your point? Did she ever get to one?

That's a good summary, aside from the start. I think she's saying that whites are implicitly racist, having benefited from a biased system that they do not fix.

Meh. I'd call me more lazy than racist. I'm not 'not changing things' because I don't like black people. It's because I don't feel like working hard enough to actually make a difference. I'm all for supporting change to help the less fortunate. Just make it easy for me.

And that conclusion makes her a racist. Benefiting from "racism", especially if you're completely and utterly unaware of it, is not racism. Also, hard to be racist when the population of your ________ is all one color and you're only competing against people that look just like you.

Is everyone in the Congo a racist? China? (China is probably a bad example...) Norway? Pretty easy to not be racist when everyone looks like you, huh? I'm sure the 11 Italians who were lynched in New Orleans in the early 1900s for treating black people as equals would be thrilled to read this article and learn what racists they were. She's not here, and she made it quite clear that if I disagree with her, I'm racist. Hard to argue with someone that open minded. Whites are the majority here in the U.S.
Whites are NOT the majority everywhere in the U.S.
