Although there seems to have been an argument (that Trump's admin is now using) about wanting to keep evidence secret in case they want to retry Maxwell on additional charges or something? Though, sure has been a lot of NOTHING happening on that front.

Two different federal judges during Biden's admin blocked the files from being released. (Not saying Biden's admin blocked them and no idea who appointed those judges.)

I do know one of them said something as justification along the lines of, "This would seriously harm the fabric of society." That implies there are some huge names on that list, which makes it all the more important it be released.

That's contradictory to reporting, including CNN, that Maxwell's people said Trump's not in the files. Interesting. Perhaps he is in the files, but not a client? We'll see...well, someone will, but probably not us.

Saw that trending first thing this morning. My stance has not and will not change: Doesn't matter who is on the list, Right, Left, Middle, Unaffiliated, etc. They need to be outed and prosecuted.

Even better if it's a sitting President, Congressperson, Hollywood star, etc. Because then it sends a message that nobody is above the law, which is not what people believe right now.

Great news! Today the House officially got enough signatures to force a vote to compel the DOJ to release all the Epstein files.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) are the two people pushing this and they deserve all the credit in the world.

Speaker Johnson said a vote will come next week (Per Copilot), which if it does, apparently is fast tracked and not normal procedure, so kudos to him if that happens.

Rs have been fighting this, which makes sense as the party in power. Same as how Ds didn't do shit on the files when they had all the power the previous 4 years. Interestingly, Boebert, MGT, and Mace are all on board with releasing the files. Three people who say a lot of dumb shit, but they're in the right here.

The "why" each party hasn't done shit when they've had the chance, we should know once the files are out.

If it passes, we can, hopefully, stop the speculation and get official details.

But as always when it comes to holding those in power accountable, I'll believe it when I see it.
