On facebook I declared today The Day of Rage and Lamentation. I am giving them their time to be assholes, but I have announced that tomorrow I am calling them on their shit. I probably got blocked by all of them.

She claims she'll be doing it today, so we'll see. Odds are 3,425,386 to 1 that's it's a woman people will not want to see naked, but you never know.

Another, and yes, people are calling this person out on it.

I'm with the puffin.
Warren 2020!
Oh hell no.
We will not let this man define our country. We will continue the good fight for equality and justice.
Sure.
The cubbies won
And Now Biff is President
But the electorate has spoken. We have to honor that. I can -- and have -- used all manner of adjectives and labels to characterize Donald Trump and my views of he and his candidacy. The electoral outcome doesn't change those views. But he's going to be our President. He's going to be my commander in chief. We need him to succeed. For our country and for the future our kids will inherit.
Rational... rare on my FB today
My six year old woke up this morning excited to know who would be our next President. When told, he said he was sad because the mean man won.
A six year old understands this better than 50% of the population.
People want Michelle to run in 2020... nononononono
Horrified that people could elect such a man. I so sorry world. Please know that not all of us support him.
this was a white nationalist takeover

An update from the imgur person I linked above:

***UPDATE***

This is a devastating day for America, the World, and Myself. To make light of an unfortunate event, I will be delivering an epic video per my promise made 9 months ago. Just like a baby this situation has grow and everyone is very excited for the delivery.

I do not want to disappoint the community, so I have a team together and over the next couple days we are putting together an epic video for your enjoyment. There will be dancing, special effects, and of course NSFW hula hooping.

Hold onto your hats! I will be posting the video this Saturday 11/12/16 before Midnight MST. Might post some teasers on my IG, to quiche your thirst in the meantime.

California wants to secede.

By the way, these outbursts and temper tantrums we're seeing all over social media...any chance this is a result of "don't spank your kids" and "everybody gets a trophy"?

Bye!

They should just rejoin Mexico, they'd probably be very happy there.

My money is on not naked. Instead she'll be saying the nastiest curses conceivable while hooping, which would make it not safe for work without requiring nudity.

Beer? Fuck that. No beer makes people this stupid. Try isopropyl alcohol, a lot of it. I've come down off 2-day amp binges and my brain felt less confused than today.
But the electorate has spoken. We have to honor mock that.
Fixed. The electorate can go fuck themselves.

Nah. Trump's still going to be the first female president.

Voters have gotten retarded. Their IQ has fallen below a critical failure point.

Just saw one person call another person crazy. Fun family you've got there.

In mine, I had an uncle tell his nephew that he'll stick his foot up his ass. The nephew responded with If I ever see you again I'm going to knock you out. The uncle then called the police and reported this as a threat. Just want you to know that your family isn't the only crazy one.

Seriously, what the fuck.

I am literally watching my family dissolve. It isn't like I can keep ignoring all of this.

I mean, the first 3 or 4 times my wife was called a racist bigot, yeah, you can let that slide. But after a while it begins to bug you.

Scorch the Earth. Fuck 'em. End of the day, you live with your wife and kids and that's your life until you die. Those other people don't matter as much as them.

I have a lot of FB friends on the left and for the most part they're being quiet. There are some, however, who are calling all Trump voters racist, sexist, ignorant, uneducated, bigots, etc. At no point is the irony of their comments affecting their belief of their moral and intellectual superiority.

I've bit my tongue most of the day, but I REALLY want to go off on somebody.

The wife and I have already discussed moving away, today, we're too close to these people in this small town. With the kid in a new school, 10 years of upgrading this house, and a new flock of chickens, it is difficult to conceive of a plan that isn't very painful.

Right now we're giving serious consideration to "sever," though, which seems impossible to me. But here we are.

Truth.

I'm glad I have a small family.

Move to my area. Your wife won't be chastised for her political views (it's very conservative in this county), you have country living with conveniences of the modern world, taxes are cheaper, schools are decent, still well within range of your kid's school, chickens wouldn't be an issue, etc.

You'll be out of that small town and the distance will let things heal.

But seriously, if someone's political views are more important to them than being civil, fuck 'em. Or show them the studies that prove acting like that doesn't change minds, it actually emboldens a person's opposing viewpoint.
