I expect most of them won't pay it. Can't arrest them all.

They'll just take it. Unless you get paid in cash and\or are unemployed.

It won't be part of withholding, and unless they take them all to court over it then they can't just take their paychecks. It's a paid-at-the-end-of-the-year tax thing, and I expect a lot of people will just stop filing.

Yeah they can. They just need an excuse. I'm sure they'll find one. Not paying taxes in this country equals motherfucking tanks driving up to your doorstep if you want to push it.

I expect a lot of people will just stop filing.

I expect a lot of people will find their gov't services cut off.

No, they can't, they have to go to court and get a judgement against them. Which is easy enough to do, but I'm predicting millions of these cases. The majority of people without healthcare who are used to getting money back on their taxes will find they have to pay, and they just won't file. And the IRS is not set up to handle that sort of load, and the feds know this and won't let it get that far. Obamacare will be extended and extended and then eventually dropped before it is actually enforced.

Such policies -- which encourage behavior subtly rather than outright require it -- have come to be known as "nudges," after an influential 2008 book titled "Nudge" by former Obama regulatory czar Cass Sunstein and Chicago Booth School of Business professor Richard Thaler popularized the term.

Now some people only want to wear the minimum required pieces of flair, and that's fine. But some people chose to wear more and we encourage that.

Well, traditionally lawmakers have passed laws intended to shape citizen behavior, like taxes on cigarettes and the like. They've failed miserably, of course, because lawmakers aren't capable of understanding humans. But my point is the idea is nothing new, it's just admitting incompetence and seeking specialists that is new.

Oh, I'm certain she'll be in the primary. But she won't be able to win it. Again.

Putin takes a shot at Obama through Bush.

So it's all Bush's fault... :D

I almost want to get a ticket to Russia, find Eddie, and give him a t-shirt that says, "Obama can suck my balls."

White House petition to exempt ALL Americans from Obamacare.

200 signatures right now. I would bet money they have the ability to alter the numbers.

Why don't I see an S. G. in the list of signers? You don't want to be exempt?

Obama: spy programs will be reviewed by independent outsiders ...
The Review Group on Intelligence Communications and Technologies (RGOICAT?) will be headed by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, aka the official who currently oversees the spying in question.

... who also run spy programs.

Good to know the NSA is rigourously overseen by the courts.
The May 2012 audit found 2,776 incidents of "unauthorized collection, storage, access to or distribution of legally protected communications" in the preceding 12 months, the Post reported in its story.

"Most were unintended. Many involved failures of due diligence or violations of standard operating procedure," said the Post article by reporter Barton Gellman. "The most serious incidents included a violation of a court order and unauthorized use of data about more than 3,000 Americans and green-card holders."

So they're not evil; they're just chronically incompetent.

Pachyderm boycott over Clinton TV specials?
Before the vote, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus decried what he called the "obvious bias" of a network that would spotlight Clinton in this fashion.

"We're done putting up with this nonsense. There are plenty of other outlets. We'll still reach voters, maybe more voters. But CNN and NBC anchors will just have to watch on their competitors' networks," he said. "The media overplayed their hand this time."

And you dudes wonder why the media skewers you at every opportunity. Shutting off your communication with the people that don't like you is not a way to encourage their good will in the future.

You've got to admit, when no matter what you say to someone it is translated as "Racist," there's no point in talking to that person any more.

Republican party can't win with the media anyway, so why even try.
