I think at this point, if I'm the Cavs GM, I think about trading James. Keep Kyrie and Love, and then get young players and picks from a team who want James to make a run.
James is gone next year anyway, so fuck 'em.

I think point guards might become the downfall of the NBA.
There's a great Bill Simmons podcast up (yesterday) on this topic as well. Lebron is a master manipulator, and probably a terrible teammate off the court. He actually has a "media strategist" on his personal payroll. The podcast discussed how everything you've been seeing about Cleveland being incompetent is actually Lebron spinning facts to make his exit to LA easier for fans to swallow. He's trying to avoid the same reaction as "The Decision".
He plays his cards well. You have to respect that.
Remember when someone sprayed painted "Nigger" on his door in LA? That one really bugs me. It's so odd and random. Who drives around a rich suburb and breaks into a compound just to do that? Something about that rang false to me.

I've been predicting the out of control salaries would eventually lead to problems in the NBA because all that money coming in from the TV deal was going to dry up. The ratings aren't there, so after this contract expires, they're not getting that deal again. ESPN learned the hard way that unless Cleveland or Golden State was playing, nobody was watching.
So far I don't see the black community rallying behind him like they did when he went after Christina Leahy. I guess it's only cool when he attacks a white woman.
"We feel like it's downright disrespectful the way the refs were treating us this week," Harrison said. "Who calls [six] technical fouls? That's crazy to be giving out that many technicals to kids. And then one of the refs told one of our guys to 'Shut the hell up and play.' Who does that?"
Now let's hear from the opposing coach whose kids were winning, won anyway, and who would have no reason to be biased:
Central Kansas Elite coach Clint Kinnamon told the Eagle that Harrison and the Midwest Flight players were disrespectful to the officials.
"I have coached a lot of games and never have I ever seen anything like that before," Kinnamon said. "Honestly, the amount of disrespect their kids and coach showed toward the officials was just wrong on so many levels."

I'm just going to take a wild guess that maybe the kids deserved it all.
