Wow. He had the balls to tweet the equivalent of "Happy Ramadan?" Would Winston Churchill wish the Irish a merry St. Patrick's Day after sending in the Black and Tans?

Jackasses bitching about pachyderm filibuster.
Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, responded furiously to Mr Reid's decision to threaten to remove the filibuster for appointments, a move that has been called the “nuclear option” because it weakens a key check and balance to the power of the majority in the Senate.

Probably because his memory extends beyond a decade.
The 'nuclear option’ has been threatened before in 2005 — this time when Republicans were angry with Democrat blocking George W Bush’s judicial nominees — but an eleventh-hour deal was brokered to pull both sides back from the brink.

A truly awesome political system we have here, quagmired in a state of perpetual amnesia. I'm willing to bet most of the incumbents get reelected, too.

U.S. health care underperforms in spite of ridiculous amounts of funding.
"Despite a level of health expenditures that would have seemed unthinkable a generation ago, the health of the U.S. population has improved only gradually and has fallen behind the pace of progress in many other wealthy nations," Dr. Harvey Fineberg of the Institute of Medicine in Washington, D.C., wrote in an editorial published on Wednesday with the study in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Obama asks for more funding.
The Obama administration announced Wednesday its first big push to help educate uninsured people about the health coverage they'll qualify for under Obamacare.

I'm sure the education will include, "To ensure your continued health, vote Democrat in every election afterwards so the Republicans don't repeal the law."

Thinking of bombing the fuck out of Syria. I wonder what the reaction of the anti-war demographic would be if their golden child walked into this plate glass window of a regional conflict.

Hospitals expanding under well thought out Obamacare laws.
Liberty Hospital near Kansas City, Mo., has eliminated 120 jobs this year, closed its wound-care clinic, and stopped offering free rides to poor and elderly patients. The Cleveland Clinic is searching for ways to cut $250 million from its $6 billion budget in the next 16 months. It’s already closed expensive maternity wards in half the hospitals it operates. In northern New York, Adirondack Health may shutter its emergency room in Lake Placid and a dialysis center in Tupper Lake.

This speech today cinches it for me. He is the single worst president in history.

What a fucking asshole. He constantly talks about uniting the American people, yet he gives this speech that is clearly race baiting.

Fuck him.

You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son.

No, were he your son, he would've had half a dozen Secret Service agents that escorted him to buy his Skittles. With guns. A few probably would've been white or Hispanic.

The worst prez? No, still this dude. Currently Barack is simply being a loud-mouthed race card player. If he does something drastic that overturns the verdict or trumps up some bullshit charges against George or his defense team, that's getting closer to "worst prez ev4r."

As for his comments about people's reactions to minorities, the demographic of people that I respond to by locking my doors and crossing the street to get away from them is limited to a single type: government employees at the local, state, and ESPECIALLY federal level.

Dubyah would be burned in effigy if he asked this.
In opposing an amendment being pushed by Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., Carney said that Obama welcomes a debate on surveillance, but opposes a "blunt approach" that could compromise national security.

Bite me. I hope your surveillance program is gutted.

Workers at Obamacare call center pissed that they wont be getting health insurance. Half of them are getting hired it at 29 hours or less per week.

I am sure this will change now that it is public.

Now that something embarrassing came out about it, Obama will wave his hand and create a new law saying they will all be full time and the media will swoon yet again and say what a great community organizer obama is.

Maybe they'll put in a loophole for political workers to not need medical care for full-time, but I very much doubt it. And even then the mandate would still be screwing these workers.

I know they will certainly not be springing for their health insurance. Not with campaign funds, no way in hell.

EDIT: Besides it's all moot. We know that Obamacare will never be fully enforced, ever. It's already starting to destroy the work force in many sectors and it doesn't even count yet. When 40% of Americans fail to have coverage in time I really don't see the IRS putting them all in jail.

They won't jail them; they'll just take their money.

I expect most of them won't pay it. Can't arrest them all.

Could even lead to the next taxpayer revolt, perhaps. But I don't think it'll go that far, enforcement will collapse first.
