I was just launching a custom game and saw Varus in my champion list. It made me wonder, "Why is Scooty play weak ass Caitlyn, when he owns Varus?"

maybe he should play takier champs since he loves to get right in there and mix things up and initiate things. That way he can build them defensive builds and it would actually help the team.

We could move you to jungle with Skarner or Udyr AND:
I could go mid with MF, and Cake could go bot with Maokai.
Or I could go bot with Cake as Maokai and Scooty could go mid.
Or I could go top with Teemo, Gordo can go bot with GP, and Cake can go with him as Maokai.
Or Scooty could go bot with Varus with me or Gordo (Teemo and Singed) and the other can go top. (I might like this idea the best.)

Varus got me to thinking so I played a game with him against the same 5 bots. I went 5-0 and lost. I was purposely sticking to mid, so bot and top got pushed QUICK. I just couldn't get kills. They'd always get away. Plus, it was taking me forever to kill minions. It was like playing in quicksand. I wasn't getting pushed, but I couldn't push, and wasn't earning money. Then I realized I was playing with my Teemo masteries.
The next game I went 50-1 and won. It was interesting to see the how quickly the AI pushed my lanes again. I think they tweaked them a bit in the last patch.

I'm keeping the peace here too. You guys have never been very receptive of my opinions either.
Any more, I just play whatever game is being played at that moment and try to mesh with whatever the team is doing. I don't try to take lead, etc. I just play the best that I can under whatever circumstances are developing.

I agree. I want folks to tell me if I'm fucking up or if I'm doing good. I know Stranger is the same way. Here you are telling him feedback is ok, so that leaves one person...and last I checked, he isn't here. I wish he was, but he's not.
As far as being on tonight, I might be, but it would be later. Going to play some Left For Dead 2.
Why don't you get on at 10 with the rest of us, and when we're done with LoL for the night 3 hours later, you can go play L4D2 until 4 in the morning. (I've noticed your gaming patterns.)
P.S. I own L4D2 as well. Could never get anyone else to get it o multi though...

I'm not sure what to say about our fifth. He is what he is. . . Plays how he plays. . . He says he's trying to change, for us, but. . . I dunno. He has good weeks, and he has bad weeks. We are definitely in a bad week.
I gave him the highlights of what's been said. He says that Stranger constantly jumps out at the enemy, making Scooty go at the enemy, then Stranger pulls back leaving Scooty in a 1v2. So, it's Stranger's fault. He doesn't over extend and he's not too aggressive. He practices in solo queue and dominates. When he's against another premade team, he can't compete and gets owned. He can't get good with a champ because we ask him to change (I told him a while ago that his Caitlyn was weak. He needed to figure out a way to play her better).

Scooty is a good player, but his youth won't allow him to listen to advice to make him better. That's natural.
Anyway, Stranger and I had the same conversation about solo queue previously, and I'll tell Scooty the same thing I told Stranger, "Your success or failure in solo queue doesn't mean shit." There are too many random factors in solo queue for anyone's record there to mean anything. It's mostly random chance. That's why there are internet cartoons dedicated to the roll of the dice known as solo queue.
You could be the greatest LoL players ever, but if you get 4 bums, you're not winning. You could also be terrible, but if you get 4 good players, they can carry you to victory.
Premades are what this game is all about.
That's not discounting anyone's wins in solo queue, I'm just saying they're not the sole or most important factor in determining your LoL skill level.
As for blaming Stranger...they're in voice. Ask him what he's doing, and don't follow him to your death. Also, that might happen once, but over and over? At some point doesn't it become the followers fault?
I think Scooty needs to adjust his game to match his style more. (If he's not aggressive, then he shouldn't be playing AD carries.) If he wants to go support, send Stranger into the jungle and I'll lane with Scooty. As long as he sticks to a ROLE, I think we should give him the flexibility to start using other characters.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he kept using Caitlyn to punish us.

I think he's TOO aggressive. He often leads the charges, doesn't wait for his tank/support, over extends, etc.
Me too. So does Stranger. That's why I put in the point about "if he thinks he's not aggressive he should be playing another role."
And please understand that I'm not picking on him. I like having Scooty as our fifth, I think he plays well, but he seems to get in his own way more than anyone else at this point. A few months back, Stranger was that guy. Prior to that it was the other three of us. Not saying we all don't goof from time to time, but we're doing it less often.
Tell Scooty to lane like a safety. If he's aggressive and rushes in too quick, he can be burnt deep. If he stays home and attacks when the opponent makes a mistake, he'll get an pick, a batted ball, etc. Point being, play to farm and not get killed. Wait for your lane opponent to get out of position and then attack. Don't put yourself out of position.
Stranger and I talked a bit about LoL tonight, and here's a lineup we'd like to test out:
Gordo - Singed at bot (or Nasus)
Me - Teemo at bot (unless Darius is at top solo, then I follow him)
Scooty - Pantheon top solo (again, unless Darius is up there)
Cake - Ziggs or Cass mid
Stranger - Hecarim in the jungle
Gordo is our solid tank. Cake still has mid. I think I've been solid with Teemo, and Gordo and I lane well. Stranger can jungle and has been doing well with Hecarim, and wants to get a few kills after playing the support/tank role so much. Scooty has been a solid top and has quick strike ability all over the map.
Just something to try. I want to get out of the jungle a bit, Ronnie wants to jungle, and this would allow Scooty to lane and level up top alone avoiding the dual lane role where he's been struggling. If he hits trouble, Gordo or I could switch with him.
