Well at 18 you can drive cars, get married, have sex, own guns, join the military, etc. You aren't mature enough to make decisions about drinking until you're 21 though.

Seriously, though, if they are going to keep the drinking age at 21 they should move the voting and driving ages there, too. You're either responsible or you're not.

I agree. The first couple of years driving and drinking are usually riddled with bad judgment calls no matter where you start out. I think experience is the maturing influence on those activities.
