Bill Clinton says states suck at budgeting. Then he says we need a bigger tax base.

Donkey: IRS targeted liberal groups, too.

Rebuttal:
In response to Levin's statement, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Rep. Dave Camp said the inclusion of "progressives" on a BOLO list did not prove that liberal groups underwent the same extra scrutiny of conservative groups cited in the inspector general's report.

As bad as that IRS stuff is, apparently those groups didn't even need to file those forms with the IRS at all. At least according to this delightful clip...

EDIT: Oh, and yes, that is a real lawyer.

Saw a sign at a McD's in some midwestern state the other day hiring.... any hours you want, up to 29 hours a week.

Wife's employer, a small regional bank with 5 branches, just got bought out. Shareholders said it was getting too expensive to stay in business so they just sold it off.

Hollywood is realizing Obamacare is going to be more expensive than they thought, but not more expensive than the non-democrats said it would be.

More bipartisan synergy-building tactics from the prez and his boys.
I can guarantee you that this will be a big fight -- many Republicans will deny science and claim that "those liberals" are making it up. But you, me, and 97 percent of scientists know better -- climate change is real and we have to act now before it's too late.

It's ok if everyone's doing it.
- John Kerry's justification for bugging up to 38 European embassies

I'm officially calling this the "Lance Armstrong" defense.

MD on health care. Agrees with me.
One of the reasons our health-care system is ailing is the fact that we habitually insulate decision makers from the consequences of their choices.

Replace "health care system" with anything where one group of people make a choice for another without everyone having all their cards on the fucking table.

Obama decided his Obamacare law need not be enforced until next year.

1. Presidents now have the power to overturn laws just because they say so.

2. This puts Obamacare clusterfucking/job killing until after the 2014 elections.

So ... all those workers that just got cut to 29 hours, they'll totally get their full workloads back, right?

Depends on what Obama says. He has that power.

Think they aren't going to try to run her again?

TBH, I'm surprised they let her be SecState the first time. That's what, 4th in line for the job? Do you know how many inconvenient people mysteriously died when she was co-president in the 90s?

The way Bill's been talking shit, it's almost as if Hillary let him fuck around on her so she could have political leverage from him down the line.

If she's not running for prez, she's getting VP or some other token cabinet position.

I think you're vastly underestimating the Republican strategy of shooting themselves in the foot, groin, throat, and brain.

And "Free Candy," on which Democrats are still perceived still have a monopoly. Nobody is going to win any more unless they are promising free candy.

Until we hit rock bottom, and blood flows, and we aint there yet.

Yeah, because no Republican has ever given out or accepted gifts for political reasons.
