Hey guys, sorry i wasn't able to make it on last night, really wanted to but i was beat and needed some rest.

But for the record my Tanky/Support build for both Nautilus and Leona goes as follows:

Aegis of Legion: gives armor and MR to me and allies in my area also gives some AD to allies

Frozen heart: Armor, Mana, and cooldown reduction. also reduces enemy attack speed by 20%

Shurelya's Reverie: HP and cooldown reduction and an active that gives the team 40% moves speed bonus for 4 seconds

All these are pretty much core and get built every game. The purpose is to have an effect on our team fights by boosting our whole team defense, slowing their attack speed and giving us the ability to chase down or flee any situations that may occure.

I do like the sunfire cape alot. but it hasn't been something i have built because after my boots and heart of gold which can be built into randuins (which also has a great active effect on it) my build slots are basically full. And lately i have been sacrificing my final build slot for use of wards and pink eye late game when all of you guys have full builds and there are no more slots for wards.

Played first game as Cassiopia. She has a great harass, but not much else. The way you have to target things is wonky. Somewhat like Urgot. Her ult has a VERY short range severely limiting when you can use it being that she's so squishy. Her spells all have really low cool downs though, so you can rapid fire and spam them. This is good for when they enemy is pushing against us, not so much for the chase though. She's not a nuker. Very limited finishing ability. So, I'll be way in the back for all the fights just throwing AOE shit into the mess and freezing them if we start losing the fight and have to retreat.

You can use pinkeye even with a full inventory.... and I don't personally think I would leave an inventory slot open just for wards.

Agreed. That slot would be much better filled with a defensive or offensive item.

I'm not sure I agree with the 'much better filled' thing. Intel is very valuable. You might like a sunfire cape in that spot during a team fight. But when we are able to setup, or avoid a gank because of all the wards he's got around, that's way better than a sunfire cape at that moment.

So often, we get beat up in team fights and we have to be sneaky. A ward filled map goes a long way. I like having wards on the map. A lot. I like knowing where the enemy is.

Like so many other things in the game, the last slot could be based on the flow of the game. We are winning team fights and they aren't organized? Then Sunfire. If they are constantly catching us with our pants down? Wards.

Blanket statement saying item > wards is incorrect, in my opinion. Especially on a support character.

Perhaps the first person to fill 5 slots with a full item... the person on our team who has been getting the most last hits and most money.... is the person responsible for buying 15 wards at a time and just keeping the map filled and lit up. A ward in every bush.

Or, we all get Wriggle's lantern, and all place a ward a minute wherever we happen to be when the countdown refreshes.

Took a break from school and fought those 5 with Trynd.

I went 18-2, destroyed every enemy building, and beat them in 20:15.

Also lost zero turrets.

Trynd up the gut, ignoring bot and top:
12-2 in 16:05.

I lost the first turret at bot, but oddly, my minions took out the first top turret at about 14:30.

Also, I was against Ashe at first and was dominating her. The AI moved her to bot, and stuck combos of Yi, Taric, or Xin in my lane. Initially, it slowed me down. Pretty cool that it switches things up when something isn't working.

I hate the sunfire cape. It makes it almost impossible to push towers with enemy champions around. And push towers is what I do.

That scenario I posted, and we are trying to get the best times:

Sometimes they gang up on me and I get surrounded by 4 of them, over and over... those are the games I lose. Sometimes they are just stupid and attack me one on one, and those are the games I suck. So far I can see no method to their madness, it will either be one way or the other.

So Cake and Scooty are out this weekend, and all next week?

Will it just be me, Gordo, and Stranger playing TT? What's our lineup?

I'm out for sure tomorrow night, and unless all three of us are on to play TT, don't bug me. I'm going to try and finish Fallout: New Vegas as it's the game that seems to never end.

The Proving Grounds

I spoke of this in a post earlier in this thread when I talked about the PBE client/server.

So the next map is a straight line. I wonder how many kids will be shouting "1v1 me" during matches now. Will it increase because they actually can now, or will it decrease because they actually can now...?

It will increase. But, they will make sure they are Fiora and you are Sona.

Because the 1v1 challenges are always so stupid like that.
