It's official: rates going up an average of 88% in Ohio, next year.

Obviously they're not implementing it correctly, like California is.

Obama just met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Obama asked China to stop spying on America. Then Jinping said, “You first.”

No WAY that's susceptible to a takedown notice. Clearly parody/free speech/art.

YouTube is not subtle about how they handle take-downs. Presumed guilty, etc. They could get it back with a fight, but why bother when it's posted elsewhere.

For the first time since 2005, more Americans have a favorable view of former President George W. Bush than an unfavorable view.

According to a new Gallup poll released Tuesday, 49% have a positive opinion of the two-term Republican president, while 46% feel the opposite.

Is it because we're forgetting him as time goes on or he just looks retroactively better because the current douche is setting the mark so goddamn low?

I thought the former, my wife thought the latter. So, perhaps both?

The exact things Bush got slammed for are the exact things Obama gets a pass for. Not sure where that gets factored into it.

And yet hatred for Nixon is eternal. The man looks like a saint compared to the last few Presidents, IMO.

The Left/Media/Cathedral complex didn't hate Nixon because of what he did as President. They hated him because of his anti-communist activity in Congress.

Only because he predated the internet.

Clinton hating. That's Bill.
"Some people say, 'OK, see what a big mess it is? Stay out!' I think that's a big mistake," Mr Clinton said at a private event in New York...

A philosophy that has served you well.

And "no" has a fuzzy definition, the same way "is" does.
"What the American people are saying when they tell you not to do these things, they're not telling you not to do these things," he said, but instead, they're urging caution. "They hire you to win ... to look around the corner and see down the road.

Wait a god-damned minute. The issue at hand is how California forces insurance companies to not discriminate their pricing based on gender so women are being unfairly burdened? Bullshit, the story here should be how in 40 states men are unfairly being hammered by ratings hikes due to Obamacare when women aren't.

Pretty sure we discussed something like this already:
Post reporter Sari Horwitz, who covers the Justice Department, is married to William B. Schultz, who is Kathleen Sebelius’ top lawyer at the Department of Health and Human Services. Ben Sherwood, the president of ABC News, is brother to Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, “a top national security adviser to President Obama.” Another Obama national security aide, Ben Rhodes, is brother to David Rhodes, president of CBS News. One of CNN’s top D.C. hacks is married to Tom Nides, whose upward career trajectory has taken him from the office of Democratic congressional powerbroker Tony Coelho to, where else, Fannie Mae, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley, as well as a two-year stint as an undersecretary of state for Hillary Clinton. Whose daughter is on contract with NBC.

White House spokesman Jay Carney, who worked for many years at Time magazine, is married to Claire Shipman, a correspondent for ABC News. The White House correspondent for NPR, Ari Shapiro, has been married to former White House counsel Michael Gottlieb since 2004. Longtime NPR personality Michele Norris went on leave in 2011, when her husband Broderick Johnson, a corporate lawyer who served in the Clinton White House, joined the Obama reelection campaign as a full-time adviser. Wall Street Journal political reporter Neil King is married to Shailagh Murray, who serves as communications director for Vice President Joe Biden, and who used to report on Congress for the Post. Savannah Guthrie of NBC recently became engaged to Mike Feldman, a former Gore aide who is now part of the Democratic Glover Park Group consultancy. Syndicated columnist Connie Schultz is married to Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio.

Rep. John Larson (D) on making Congress use Obamacare like everyone else: "simply not fair".

Go fuck yourself.
