We never had a "million man march" over the TSA. Poor peeps don't fly, and are completely unaffected. I could see it happening over this issue, and the media will spin it as "million racist march" because the poor get it all for free, anyway, and they always assume poor=black. It is the people with jobs w/benefits who will suddenly not be able to pay for insurance, for themselves and, in extension, the poor.

My insurance sucks goat balls at my job, even if you take the "best" of the 3 options.

As of today it's official, no more full-time adjunct instructors at all at my college. Just to be safe even the part-time adjuncts are being cut way back in their hours. We'll have to find a whole lot of adjuncts and then give them each almost no hours. But we won't have to worry about insurance for them.

It's going to be everywhere and every one. It isn't like there will be a select few insurance companies that will figure out how to not jack up their rates in the face of government subsidies.

Here's how the MSM uses subtlety to brainwash the masses:

Note the title of the article, and then who is pictured...

Does he get some of the blame for championing this clusterfuck in the first place? Oh yes, lots. But then there's the current cadre of douchebags who continue to prop it up. As an Academy Award-winning actor who took a job because he needed money once said,
Who's more foolish: the fool or the fool who follows?

Security dude behaves like petulant teen.
The unauthorized disclosure of a top secret U.S. court document threatens potentially long-lasting and irreversible harm to our ability to identify and respond to the many threats facing our nation," Clapper said of the phone-tracking program.

Guess your "top secret" status doesn't mean shit, does it, Clappy?

I believe it is important for the American people to understand the limits of this targeted counterterrorism program and the principles that govern its use," Clapper said.

"Limits" I assume is a codeword for "we'll target whoever is pissing us off that particular day, foreign or domestic."

B. Rock promises they will only use this power for good. No word on when General Zod will be announced as the new NSA director.

We're spying on the MSM.

We've invaded their homes and then lied to you about it.

We've actively used government agencies to suppress opposition to our party and policies. Oh, and to try and keep people from learning about the Constitution.

Just about every promise we've made about our administration has been broken or proven to be an outright lie.

We've supplied weapons to terrorist organizations and gotten people killed doing so.

We've killed American citizens without trial.

We've gone out of our way to protect free speech for certain groups, while suppressing that of others.

We've stood by and watched Americans die in an attack we had prior notice of and then lied to you about it.

But hey, you've got to trust us on this new scandal because if you don't trust us, there's going to be problems.

At this point, how can the American people not take that as a threat?

If people can’t trust not only the <s>executive branch</s> monarch but also don’t trust <s>Congress</s> the aristocracy, and don’t trust <s>federal judges</s> royal magistrates, to make sure that we’re abiding by the <s>Constitution</s> Divine Right of the Chosen with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here.

The entire Constitution was written precisely because citizens decided not to trust their government to self-regulate.

49% now think Obamacare is a bad idea.

Obama said that's just because Republicans are just trying to make it look back. Obama's evidence that it is working is because children can stay on mommy and daddy's insurance until they are 25.

“By the way, all of this is what the Republican Party has now voted 37 times to repeal, at least in the House of Representatives,” he said. “And my suggestion to them has been, let's stop re-fighting the old battles and start working with people like the leaders who are on stage here today to make this law work the way it's supposed to.”

Jesus. No bipartisan shit there.

Once the law is passed, congress has nothing to do with implimentation. He is just looking for a convenient group of republicans to blame for his clusterfuck of a law.

Has anyone noticed how coverage of this new scandal has shifted to the whistleblower? He's all I see in the news today. Nobody is talking about the scandal itself, just him.

Most of the big name tech companies were involved in the spying on us.

Yeah, i noticed the focus shift. I also noticed the shift in attitudes of the freedom loving hippies who claim that total blanket surveilance is actually a good thing, now, and also Bush did it first.
