Server is completely down now.
This is 3 or 4 nights in a row they have had problems. Better knock a mil off the next tourny prize.

good thing is, in the past they have usually given us compensation for extended periods of downtime. Usually an IP boost, but maybe we'll get something more this time

Apparently this thing is a way bigger mess than i thought. Lots of people are missing all of their runes and the some are missing champs and skins that they have purchased! I haven't been able to get on since tuesday night, but even so if you don't have your runes and or champs you're at a big disadvantage right off the bat. No sense in even playing then. but i did read somewhere that all the loses won't count against ya untill everything is settled.

I'm attempting to log in now to see if I'm missing anything, but the queue is over 20K, and 15+ minutes.
Last I saw this morning ranked games were still disabled.
If they have their shit together by 10 tonight I should be on.

All my shit appears to be in order.
And, of the 3 games I played with Cake 2 nights ago and he fed badly through 2 of them and made me lose, I now have a "loss prevented" so they aren't going to count against me.

How to join the LoL public beta server.
It's a whole other client on your computer, and it's large, so make sure you have the disk space. It's pretty cool. Your guy will be bumped to lvl 30 and given free RP and IP within your first hour.
This is where a lot of players come to test drive the new champ before he/she gets released. From what I understand, the new champs are 10 IP to encourage their use. Older champs are normal priced, but your account is always given RP and IP at various times to keep you going.
No more buying new champs sight unseen.
You will need to rebuild your masteries and build up a new rune collection for this server.
One cool map here is The Proving Grounds. Picture Summoner's Rift only without the top, bot, and jungle. It'd be a good place for us to practice PvP fighting and test new champions. It's got interesting rules too. Recall is disabled and you can't shop except for the start of the game and when you die.
