Oh no, how will we ever survive if the government shrinks down to what it was last year?

Bitch in charge of Homeland security issues thinly veiled insult.
But Napolitano said the problems were real.
"Look, people, I don't mean to scare, I mean to inform. If you're traveling, get to the airport earlier than you otherwise would," she said. "And please don't yell at the Customs officers or the TSA officers - they are not responsible for the sequester."
Yes, you are. And yes, they are. Had you fucking shit-producing assholes not been suckling at the gov't titty for over a decade, this wouldn't even be a problem. Your fucking department shouldn't exist. The fact you see dime one is a mistake. God forbid someone take their toothpaste on to a plane. At this point, I'd rather deal with the terrorists doing a hijacking in situ than see one TSA agent ever again.

Testicle-less Biden issues statement about Iran.
"We're not looking for war. We're ready to negotiate peacefully. But all options including military force are on the table," said Biden.
...
He further noted that it is "important that the world is with us if we have to act."
So, you're going to do nothing except more sanctions ... again?

Biden better watch out... they could organize a coalition of 40 different countries and the media will claim Bush is GOING IT ALONE. Err, I mean Obama.

Maybe DHS has finally realized how much people hate them and they're planning to go Waco.

DHS is, essentially, a federal military organization with a mission of focusing on Americans in America. They aren't the federal police, that's the FBI. They aren't the military. The military has a very ingrained sense of "Follow orders, but only LEGAL ones." This means most of them aren't turning guns on the peeps in their hometown.
And now the DHS has more military assets than 90% of the other countries in the world.
Again, I'd love to see the media asking "why?" a little bit more.

Legal basis for killing people grudgingly revealed ... in part. Donkeys need some douchebag in as CIA director, so they're making like they're giving something up...
With a committee vote set for a closed session beginning at 2:30 p.m., senators will get access to all Justice Department legal opinions on the targeted killing of Americans, the committee’s Democratic chairwoman, Senator Dianne Feinstein of California, said in a statement.
Oh, that bitch.
Christopher E. Anders, senior legislative counsel at the American Civil Liberties Union, called the promised disclosures “an important first baby step towards restoring the checks and balances between Congress and the president” but said they were not enough.
“Amazingly, the Obama administration continues to hide at least some of its legal opinions, even from the intelligence committees,” Mr. Anders said. He said all members of Congress should have access to the memos on targeted killings and that redacted copies should be made public.
Good thing we're working towards something we ought to have already.

Government "by the people" is impossible when that government can keep relevant and important secrets from those people. This is just more evidence of politicians shitting all over the idea of democracy on a daily basis in Washington.
Is there really anything left to fight for in Washington anymore?

The AP’s analysis also found that the government generally took longer to answer requests. Some agencies, such as the Health and Human Services Department, took less time than the previous year to turn over files. But at the State Department, for example, even urgent requests submitted under a fast-track system covering breaking news or events when a person’s life was at stake took an average two years to wait for files.
What was that, John Kerry? You want more money for the State Department because of it's stellar job performance?
In a year of intense public interest over deadly U.S. drones, the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, terror threats and more, the government cited national security to withhold information at least 5,223 times — a jump over 4,243 such cases in 2011 and 3,805 cases in Obama’s first year in office.
The gov't tosses around "national security" like Chappelle trumpeted, "I plead the fifth, F-I-F, fifth!"

Former VA suit claims superior told him to lie.
Among a laundry list of claims that Coughlin will tell a House oversight committee Wednesday are that he was warned by a superior not to include data in his study that could have helped establish a link between so-called "burn pits" in Iraq and asthma and bronchitis among veterans. Such a link could put the VA on the hook for costly medical treatments.
Why does the military continue to follow orders from a gov't who continually skullfucks them after they return from every fucking combat zone?

White House stops public tours. Blames republicans and the sequester.
Donald Trump offers to fund the tours.
White House says no.
But remember... it isn't about politics.

“The Donald Trump option is not an option — what we have to do is deal with the sequester,” Pfeiffer said on CNN on Tuesday.
I wouldn't take Trump's money, either. Taking money from crazy is never a good idea.
But on the flip side this is like bitching that since the price of gas has gone up five cents since last year, so you'll have to stick to buying a mere four Faberge eggs instead of five. The cost of running tours in the White House is infinitesimal compared to the cost of all the freebies the first family gets. Wish I could take multimillion dollar Hawaiian vacations and fly to my private beach on my private jet.
“It doesn’t work that way; we can’t have private individuals paying the Secret Service — so that’s not how it works,” Pfeiffer said on CNN. “This is about a very tough budget cut that the Secret Service has to take because of the sequester. It’s why we should have avoided the sequester to begin with.”
A. Yeah, because their paycheck is probably the only reason they aren't punching you in the dick right now. I'm sure the Secret Service has never cushioned their budget or spent allotted cash wastefully. Forced to cut $80M plus from an organization that had $1.1B in funding as of 2011? Yeah, that 8% cut must be rough. Maybe the DHS could buy fewer assault vehicles and ammo and kick some of that cash over to the SS. Better yet, maybe the DHS could just dissolve and give all $60B of their money back. Stop bitching you assholes don't have enough of a budget when all you've done since post-WWII economic times is spend more.
B. Your entire administration can go suck it because they're using gun control the same way Dubyah used gay marriage. Had you not been so concerned with less important bullshit, maybe you could have had a couple extra weeks to cut a deal in Congress.
C. I'm firmly of the opinion that the administration wanted the cuts because they get to play the same blame card they play every fucking time and mention it in every sound byte.

Blaming the end of White House tours on the Secret Service... can we just start calling this guy President Not-My-Fault?
Later I will post the email we received saying my kid's white house tour for April has been cancelled.
