Alex feels the weight of his gaze, and first looks back at Mardigan from the corner of his eye, and feeling bold, turns to face him. He feels how close the big warrior is, in this tight room.

Mardigan takes a bold step forward, looks down into the smaller rogue's eyes. "Do you... let's..." he mumbles, he rolls a 1d20 Intelligence check, and fails, his limited intelligence stunting his ability to express what he's feeling.

Heart racing, Alex rolls a 1d20 check for his persuasion skill. "What say we leave this haunted dinner party, go back to the Inn, and check out one of those private rooms?" Alex suggests.

Mardigan rolls a 1d20 save for falling in love... and so happily fails.

My wife told me last night that i was obnoxious, dropping the F-bomb every other word (with my 4 year old son in the room) and talking weird.

So, i'm slightly embarrassed with my behavior and i will NOT be drinking whiskey again anytime soon.

Aside from the kid in the room thing (which would have earned you much internet scorn and shame) your behavior would have been gold for a podcast.

Correct! If Zelda is not there exactly at 7 we still start. I’ll ping her and get her status around lunch. If she’ll miss the openings moves I’ll ask her what she wants her character to do. I will try to implement her strategy until she makes it.

Troy, is it too late to change my chosen extra language i learn from the haunted background?

I originally chose celestial but i think with the haunted background abyssal would be more fitting.

I'm a little confused over the whole part when Troy said he wasn't prepared for Koban rolling a 5 earlier and then a 20 at the end of the night? Am I missing something or does that have to do with the journal stuff we received last night.

And about those journals. Are they supposed to be secrets or are those skills that we continue to use throughout the journey. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to go about that, all the others seemed to be hush hush about theirs. Mine didn't seem the need to be kept quiet.
