My nervous system is just straight-up not fast enough to pull off some of the stuff I see.

And, I've never paid to use the illegal cheat programs. Not saying everyone uses them, but they exist.

And probably more importantly, the lack of an east coast North America server screws me over. My 80ms ping vs. a 15ms for some cock on the west coast gives me a good disadvantage. I'd enjoy seeing ranking stats for people, based on their average pings.

I pondered before wondering if there is a correlation between ping and rank. in the big picture.

Apparently, very much so. My 100ish ping to California DOES affect my game.

Holy fucking shit. They are moving the NA server from Portland, OR to Chicago. That's like probably the most realistic best-case scenario for me.

If I am reading this trace route correctly I am going to go from 14 hops and an 85ms ping to about 6 hops and a 40ms ping, conservative estimate.

Server moved today... I am only down to a 50 ping. I had hoped for better.

Sometimes the ping is 40, sometimes it is 55. One thing for sure, I've never seen green "Ping Status" bars before.

Another good thing about this server move is that when one of your teammates joins a game that they only have 15 minutes to play, then call for a surrender at 15 when they have to leave, then when everybody votes to not surrender they can just feed over and over with a much better ping. So there's that.

The logic behind a smurf account for ARAM:

I have my main account with like 80 champs, but that makes it a huge crap shoot in ARAM for getting a viable champ.

I've started a smurf account for ARAM, and I will only be getting the good ARAM champs. This serves two purposes.... a full team of smurf accounts not only has the higher percentage of getting the good champs, but it also means the other team is forced into less viable ARAM champs. It's kind of devious.

Huge changes coming to season 6!

-revamping of all ADs and items
-All new mastery trees
-The Rift Herald, a neutral monster like dragon that spawns in Baron Pit before Baron @ 20 mins.
-Champion mastery and crafting system
-New champ select process and ability to que ranked games with 1,2,3,4 or 5 players

Season ends on the 11th and looks like I won't make Silver like I did the past two seasons, but I started playing again late in the season.

I like that we can now play ranked games with more people now. Cake and I duo quite a bit, but it would be nice to have a 3rd or 4th and not have to play normals. So Gordon, get ready to play some ranked next season, I'm gonna make you play. Scooty still plays and so does Riflescout. I talked to Rifle the other day and he plays for the University of Toledo team, said they had just beat Ohio State and Illinois. He's Diamond 5, and really good.
