That being said, there are people who kill themselves while killing as many innocent human beings as possible in the process in the name of religion. People abstaining from sex in the name of religion, even after marriage, isn't much of a stretch.
Killing is a biological urge. We just like having justification. If religion weren't around, we'd find equally lame excuses to do the same things. Fucking is also a biological urge. Estimated 1% of humans are numb to it. Outside a few extreme cases, most religions just put restrictions on it and discourage it if those arbitrary rules are broken. Religion, as a general rule, still does not trump your fundamental drives.
