Congrats, but with that build? Did they all DC?

The new champ looks overly complex, and OP.

It was a mess of a fight. 4 of them went down to mushrooms, the poison shot, and just shooting darts at them. 3 of my team were dead, the 4th was on his way in from respawn, so I was there alone. The last of the enemy team was about 85% hurt, and hiding under his twin Nexus towers. I could hear him mentally saying, "Fuck your penta" to me, telepathically. I Flashed in, took the killing shot for the penta, and got the hell out before the towers killed me. Was very exciting.
I bought the new champ and have played him 3 times... he IS complicated. Not sure about OP yet... the E, which has the potential to do a lot of unanswerable damage, is modified by AP, which none of his other abilities is, so you really have no other reason to buy any AP items. Also, he is melee and seems to be very weak early game. Also, when activating the ult, I have died 90% of the time while doing it. So.... I dunno. Like every other champ they will say OP for the first 3 days, then people will get pissed at you in ranked because the champ is so weak, then in about a month some Asian team will figure out how to play him and he will be OP again.

Also, the reason I came to this thread in the first place:
Goodbye, Stranger. His wife just had the baby and I figure he's gonna be done now.

Ronnie is gone for the foreseeable future, and cakedaddy has a new team. Is TKV done?

Well, I've been busy with work and family commitments, so I haven't gotten on. Didn't want to promise an "I'll be back ____" since I didn't know.
I had planned to return soon, but if you're the only one logging in who is making TKV his priority, why bother?
I'll simply move onto new games and whatnot.

I was tired of playing solo queue/aram/one4all. I wanted a team to play with. When I mentioned that I was 'applying' for teams, Gordon's response was something similar to 'fuck that'. So I figured he wasn't interested in getting on a new team.
I found a team so I had people to play with as a team. I'm by no means abandoning TKV or not making it a priority. It's just hard to be the only one making a 5 person thing a priority. I guess I could go back to sitting there waiting for the other people to sign in so it looks like I'm making TKV a priority again. . . but that's not that much fun.
I'm ready to go. I'm still logged in most nights, I've just been entertaining myself with other people right now. I've always considered this a team game and not playing on a team sucked. So, when my team is ready to go, so am I.
And since when has the team been Gordon's priority. It's always been just about him like everything else in life. Selfish bastard.
But seriously, I'm ready to go any time and don't blame me for the team falling apart when I'm the only one on still practicing and trying to improve my team skills!

Just wondered since a couple times recently you have gone to play with your new friends even when I was there waiting to play.

Someone pick a fun, more casual game during steam sale and I'll play.

Hell, if you do that I might join you. Depends on the game.
Any of you like racing? Some friends and I do racing games a few nights a week. There's usually some more space.

I like racing. I'm not super good at it. I used to rule Mario Kart 64, but that was a long time ago.

It's a very mixed group. Roughly average, overall, you will probably not get tromped ... too badly. :p

My problem with that is I find racing games pretty boring. I watch the new Forenza4 (or whatever) commercials and I think LOOKS BORING.

I wish they would rerelease X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter so it could handle resolutions better than 640x480. I'd play the shit out of that.

Development of video games based upon other Lucasfilm properties will now be assumed by Disney Interactive Studios or licensed to third parties.
There's a chance. They'd be dumb-asses not to release more games in the ...
Rogue Squadron
Battlefront
X-Wing
TIE Fighter
Dark Forces
Jedi Knight
whatever
... series because fuck knows they'd still sell. Revamps of old properties would probably be quicker and cheaper than brand new titles, too.

I'd rebuy it. And buy a new flight stick with which to play it.

Good news:
Disney is totally developing more Star Wars games.
After the purchase of Lucasfilm by The Walt Disney Company in 2012, Disney Interactive assumed the role of developing Star Wars games ...
Bad news:
... for the casual gaming market ...
Eh, maybe still not bad?
Ugly news:
... while Electronic Arts would develop Star Wars games for the core gaming market through an exclusive license (although LucasArts did retain the ability to license Star Wars games to other developers for the casual gaming market).
Fuck a duck.
