I said I keep them healthy. Meaning, I heal damage I see. But I don't camp with the sniper or the engineer. I check their health, hit them if needed, and move on. On the other hand. . . I have camped a few with an engineer. If their turret is under fire and he's spaming his wrench on it, I'll keep him alive as long as possible to keep his turret alive as long as possible. But as soon as the danger passes, I'll hop down and hook up with a heavy/pyro.

Ok, I asked about the autoswitch at the FNF forum and it seems like it switches the next to die.

Here's the thread.

Although, I think Bat21 gives the best advice.

So... you're saying their tactic worked?

Absolutely. I never said otherwise.

However, medics can usually be used to better effect covering other classes.

To phrase it in a way you can groove on, there is an opportunity cost when a medic covers a sniper exclusively that is probably greater than the benefit gained by the sniper.

I was sporadic last night while dealing with a stomach virus. Also, outside of tomorrow night, I probably won't be around much until Sunday evening.

I think I did markedly better last night all of a sudden. At least for a bit. I quit just running around all willy-nilly and started thinking about strategy and whatnot. In general I start as a scout until I see a specific need for another class, such as a demoman to take down a particular sg, or a sniper to temporarly convince an enemy sniper he needs to change positions.

But scout is definately my go-to class. I'm getting the hang of quickly navigating around the maps and bouncing into off-beat areas for infiltration. And it's also a great class for defense in certain areas, too, I've learned.

Who knows, I might find myself in the top half of the scoreboard for a game someday if I keep learning. :)

Heh, that's about what I said last night. "I'm going to see if I can counter that enemy sniper a bit," because he had picked off my... heavy? a couple times.

I ended up breaking my all-time record for damage inflicted with my sniper. They just couldn't kill me. I had to reload 4 times in one life, and that doesn't count the times I had to pull back because an advancing scout or something had winged me. I was chuckling about the pile of bodies I had stacked up outside Blue's door. I should have taken a screenshot.

Also, somehow, the SG that was watching my tunnel killed a spy RIGHT behind me. I didn't know he was there until he was dead. He must have screwed up.

There was a lot of profanity on the FNF server, tonight. Admins just kept handing out warnings, I never saw the offenders kicked.

There was a higher than usual level of douchbaggery, too. Not to untolerable levels, though.

I was approaching "irritated" when they called me a "retard" over and over and over because of where I was building my engie base.

Pad must not have been on. He's the admin with the heavy hand. He'll ban people in a heartbeat.

Who were the offenders, regulars or drifters?

Oh, and stop taking pictures of my rather large gun.

Drifters.

Well, if FNF is empty, or on the rare occasion, filled with idiots head over to House of Pies. I've seen a few of the FNF regulars over there and they seem to be a pretty legit server as well.

I want to say I was on Pies for a few minutes yesterday, and I quit soon after I saw more impossible around-3-corners headshots from snipers.

Also, I've learned, as far as cheats go, there are scripts out there for aimbots that can be adjusted to make them harder to detect (people recommend 60% hit rate), and scripts to make every shot you fire a crit. These cheats may or may not work on VAC servers, and the people who use them brag that they don't want to win by any means necessary, they just want to, and I quote, ruin the game for all the people on the public servers.

So yay!

I never had that much teen angst in my life to where I felt a need to ruin other people's fun. Not sure if they're doing it in a pathetic attempt to make people as miserable as they are or if they do it in a misguided attempt to get attention, which they apparently lack at home.

My parents never divorced, loved me, and gave me a good upbringing. I had girlfriends and had regular sex. I had a job and played sports. All things that must be missing from a typical griefers life.

Sadly for them, the only emotion I'm able to muster up when they do such things is pity.

Pass received, thanks Gordon!

I click to activate it, so I'm holding off until I know I have some time. Baby is sick today, and I'm home with her, so today is out. But maybe Sat or Sun?

Oh! I've got a pass, too, so i fyou decide you like it and want another pass to be sure let me know. I'm not sure if you can use two, but it's worth a shot.
