I tell you to message ME. If I get on and three of you are in AWAY status in LoL and Steam, and the others are offline, I'm not messaging people. You're always AFK. Stranger is either not on or in BL2. Gordo plays Defense Grid until people are ready. Chaotic is AWAY a lot. When I'm ready, I'm online and in game. I don't need time to eat or kick out visitors or whatever else people need to do AFTER they log on...
As for 10:30, Gordo and I will have issues with that. Typically, we're the first two on and are ALWAYS waiting for you. We're ready by 9-9:30 nightly and you aren't on until 10. Thus, you making such a demand is ludicrous.

FYI, it has been discussed that 2 things are going to happen in future games:
1. We will be choosing champions with an eye to who counters who. Last person to pick their champ will have a LOLcounter.com (or whatever) page open on their second monitor, relaying information.
2. I am adding Volibear to my frequently played champs, and I will build him exactly like the Voli that beat our asses the other night, including copying his runes and masteries buildouts.

The problem is that not enough of us know enough champions. We can do this to an extent, and should, but we can't go into matches thinking "I'll pick X because they counter Y even though I've never or rarely played X." Also, don't forget that we have a team aoe comp right now. Switching away 1 or 2 pieces can ruin that comp. Is that an issue? For me, yes because I probably wouldn't play Kennen if the team wasn't doing an aoe comp.
But yes, we should absolutely be looking for mismatches.
On a different note...
Sona and Sejuani are getting nerfs. Singed had some of his stuff tweaked as well.

These are the patch notes.. Singed didn't get changed at all.
The big changes are in the jungle,creeps will spawn at the same time as blue and red now and they will respawn sooner. Also blue and red will give more xp. and there were some changes to jungle items, notably wriggles lantern and the spirit items.

You didn't read closely enough.
Singed got changed in two ways:
1. He can no longer flip you if you flash away. One of the other will occur, but not both. Meaning, if he does land it, your flash will be up where before it would be gone.
2. This affects 9 characters, and Singed is the most notable, since Gordo plays him... All aoe slows will no longer take as long to recover your speed from once you leave the area affected. Previously, as you left an area with an aoe slow, your speed would slowly recover. Now it'll be much faster.

One thing I learned last week is how at home I am in Bronze. We don't want to go silver. Playing that silver team that trolls bronze by starting a new team and reseeding showed me that we have a TON of improving to do before hitting silver. In fact, I think it would be a mistake to ever hit silver. That team completely rolled us. Same champs we've faced dozens of times and we couldn't do ANYTHING against them. Just highlights how little we actually know about this game.
We can pick a champ B that counters champ A. But if we don't know HOW they counter them, then it's meaningless. You added Voli to your list, but who does he counter and why? We have often said "Ryze counters Singed". But does he? Just because that one Ryze countered our Singed?

I think you should just quit playing the game if that's your attitude.
I'm not saying we don't have lots of improving and learning to do still. Hell, even the pros talk about how they're always learning new things.
You honestly think of all the games we've played that we haven't played Silver or Gold people and beaten them? I guarantee it's happened.
I'd like to point out that "two champ and only good at one, kill stealing" Theo is Silver V. The endless chatter box/nice guy Cognito1 is Bronze I and he doesn't even know how to place wards! Chaotic is Bronze I. Venerable Sage is Gold V, and I can't point to anything in his game that stands out as superior.
I think a LOT of the new ranking system has to do with just playing a lot, and who you get teamed up with...
I honestly think that as a team, we belong around Silver V-IV right now. (Both TT and SR.) I put us there mainly because we're not playing a dozen games a day like a lot of the kids that play. Over the past four weeks we've played as a full team...twice? We cannot worry about our rankings until we get some consistency in play time.
Gordo and I are jonesing for LoL so badly we actually duo queued ranked last night. We went 1-1.
The first game started off with me claiming ADC, and one minute later someone deciding he would play it, and I can "eat his ballz". Meanwhile, another player said he's Platinum, I'm wrong to claim anything because I was last in the pick order per Riot's own official announcement (WTF?), and if we just shut up and do as we're told, he'll carry us to victory.
The second game started off with someone volunteering to play support, and every chatting in a friendly way. One person asked me to play Varus to counter the enemy Caitlyn.
Guess which game we won and which we lost? Guess which game had a feeding ADC/support combo and a guy with a superiority complex telling everyone else how to play the game? Guess which game had a summoner named "iwillrap3you"?
The game before Gordo got on, I soloed and was ADC with a guy who said he was "bullied into support, and fuck us all". He then proceeded to argue with the mid player the whole game, and never dropped a single ward.
Solo/Duo can be a lot of fun, but more often than not, it's a nightmare of retards.

That first game was the horrible one. It was comparable to the duos I played with Cake the other night, except this time I wasn't actually making any mistakes.
Leisher was jungling, I think, and he was doing fine. Mid and/r bottom were feeding hard, though... and at top, as Singed, Teemo got thrown against me, and I actually killed him for first blood. And we had a gank on him soon after, so I was like 1/0/1. Mr Awesome starts riding my ass that I didn't buy the right boots.
A little later in the game and the score is like 10-20, we are losing because others are feeding hard. I am like 2/1/5. Mr Awesome starts riding me HARD about how I am not playing right. I bet he made 30 or 40 comments all about me. When we down by 15, he is still going at me, and I am 4/2/10 (ish). He started talking about how my enitre play style is fucked, and I am supposed to be the initiator and up front. I said that I seem to be flipping and starting fights quite a bit. He said there was more to it than that. I just apologized for losing the game for us. He didn't get the hint and just started raving about how people need to listen better and keep learning new things and not "play the game like you do in random matchups" or some such thing.
Just completely horrible and the exact reason I don't like playing with hitlers.
Then the second game was fun, even though it seemed like the people we were playing had never played those champions before, and if they weren't in ranked you would have guessed their level at about 23.

The "Mr. Awesome" (not his real name) game was funny because three of the people on our team had the silver border meaning they were ranked last season. The entire other team, Gordo, and I did not have borders.
Yes, the people with the borders were the three people who got decimated.

As for bot, in the words of Mr. Awesome, they went 8-21 in the laning phase. Team fight phase was even worse. Our ADC would routinely run from fights with full health and mana as soon as they started so when Fiora and Kat would do their ults, and have the enemy team way down, there was nobody there to finish them off.
That game was a great example of why solo/duo has such a bad reputation.
