I'm starting to like him more and more.
Sure, there's lots of ways that he sucks, but he's at least got some standards. Unlike everyone else in that shithole called Congress.

Aren't we at a point, though, when government employees caught breaking the law are just promoted? I don't think the expiration means anything, they'll just do what they want, anyway.

Obamacare overhead: $273 billion over the next 7 years.

I wonder how much operating cost a typical insurance company has.

Getting closer.
Votes are possible after 6 p.m., giving senators just six hours before the laws run out at midnight — and only two before 8 p.m., when the Obama administration has warned the NSA's phone records program would be disrupted.
Someone, anyone on the Congressional catering staff, for fuck's sake -- drug the coffee with some sedatives.

Lapsed.
A small victory considering they'll pass them again in a few days, but still...
It's too bad a Kardashian wasn't involved because then maybe the majority of Americans would care.

The Senate voted 77-17 to move ahead on the House-passed bill, the USA Freedom Act...
That's 77 pandering asswipes that deserve to be executed in public.

I wonder how much they're collecting that they will continue to collect because it isn't public knowledge and illegal for anyone that DOES know to say anything? No one is saying anything about the emails they scoop up or all the text messages. Just the metadata that's already been admitted to.

Mike Tyson could see a resurgence.
"Hi, I'm Mike Tyson. You don't want the government spying on your behind your back, going all Don King on your ass. So buy one of my birds to carry your sensitive information to its destination. You can also train them to shit on things and people you don't like during flight."

FBI watching you.
According to the senior law enforcement official, the FBI does not need a court issued warrant to fly these surveillance planes because of rules established by the Department of Justice. The same official says that before a plane is used, it is signed off on by various levels of DOJ.
Domestic surveillance without warrants or any confirmed operating authority. How convenient.

John Cusack says Obama is as bad or worse than Bush.
He's pretty left wing, so that's saying something.
