Is the Leisher mid, Chaotic ADC switch our new setup? If so, is Leisher beginning training on new mid champs? Or are you mid only when you can get Teemo?

I bought Jarvin the other night. Played one 3v5 bot game and won. So, I think I'm ready for prime time (Per Gordon's standards). I really want to get some new jungle champs in my line up. Ren and Noc have not been as effective as I'd like and Naut just doesn't feel right. It's probably me. . . but I don't know what to change up to fix things. So, maybe a different champ will fit the way I'm playing lately. I feel like I need to be more bruiser than full AD. Maybe I should try a more tanky Noc. Give up some damage for some health/armor/resist. But anyway, Jarvin was pretty cool. He's got a really high movement speed so he can cover distances quickly. I just have to practice his Q, E, R combo.

Also, an early FYI, I'm going to be out Mon-Thur next week.

I don't know.

I thought I sensed some frustration last night from him regarding his mid play, but I might be wrong. I think he was a bit relived to move down to ADC though.

If so, is Leisher beginning training on new mid champs?

I honestly think "Teemo for the win". I cannot stress that enough. I feel that I usually do so well in mid that it frees the jungler up to focus other lanes. Now granted, I've had bad games there, but typically, we're winning if I mid Teemo. (The stats back me up on that too if you drop the Ryze/Teemo TT games.)

That being said, I know I can't just play him forever.

I also own Heimerdinger, Akali, LeBlanc, Anivia, Annie, Katarina, Kayle, and Twisted Fate. I have a great interest in adding Ziggs, Lux, and possibly Karthus or Kassadin to the mix as well.

Who do you guys want to see me use?

I bought Jarvin the other night.

There are people who think he's the best champion in the game. High damage, a tank, great initiator, massive gap closer, etc. I look forward to seeing him jungle.

i have no problem with Leisher playing mid if he wants it, and i've got no problem with him playing Teemo alot but expanding his roster is a must as im sure he already knows. The only suggestion i would have is to learn to play someone that you can roam with alot more. I like it when a mid can push their lane and then go and gank top or bottom, so maybe make your descision on having that ability. TF, Ziggs, Lux and Karthus can all have a presense on lanes with those long range/global ults.

that was the first game that i had played support with Chaotic and we got him 3 kills in no time. I'm pretty sure we can make some pretty good combos down there. Not sure how he or Leisher feel about this so i will leave that up to the rest of you.

And i love the Jarvan jungle! he is prolly one of the top picks for the pro's right now, he's just got a lot working for him.

I will go where I'm needed.

I enjoy mid and ADC equally. Although, I am honestly a bit more excited about moving to mid and playing champs I don't often play. I'm still a carry, so there's really not much difference.

He's all I'll play tonight unless he gets picked prior to me getting him. In that case, I will bring out Akali.

Roaming doesn't have a ton to do with a champion, but more about situations. Yeah, speed can help, but I can't roam if my lane isn't pushed.

If you see my lane pushed, and you're getting pushed back, don't be shy to call out for an assist.

As Teemo its pretty easy to push out and force folks to B thanks to my constant harassing.

Obviously my list of mids still include Teemo, and I missed Ryze (I don't like him). I also bought Lux tonight, and I'm thisclose to buying Ziggs.

I recommend learning from your current pool of new champs before buying Ziggs. That way, if a new OP mid comes out, you still have enough IP to buy it. Unless you want to spend RP. I'm just sayin'. . . I always try to keep a pool of 10k IP for the OP champ release.

I think for the most part, we have to stick to hit and run/no team fights in ranked games. If the enemy team forces the issue, well, then, we lose. Bottom line, we can't team fight. We can't. So, we TRY to create an environment where we make them play our game, and lose when it doesn't work. Or, we try to team fight them, playing their game, and lose to them because we can't team fight. Until we learn to team fight, we can't. In theory, yes, we need to team fight. But, we can't. So, we don't.

In non-ranked games, team fight the shit out of them. That's where we practice the stuff we suck at. When we are in a ranked game, we play the only game we can. Hit and run gank stuff.

I have 13K right now, and that's after buying Lux yesterday.

I am pondering Ziggs because I tried him during a free week, and basically just loved him immediately. Tons of harass, and escapability, which match my play style.

As for the OP of the month, I'm kind of hoping Heimer is going to become that soon. It's why I've been practicing him up in my spare time lately.

im kinda waiting to see some new champs soon.. you don't have to be pro with these guys to play them and it shouldn't be that hard to get a feel for what a champ does. I mean, Leisher played Akali for the second time ever yesterday and he had tons of kills, a very well played game.

Its not like we are winning every game we play when we have Singed, Teemo and Nocturne so lets try something new for once.

I don't think this is a fair statement. I think it implies something that isn't true.

I mean, I get what you're saying and I agree that we need to have more champs, but at the same time, we keep playing ranked games.

Nobody wants to jump into a ranked game playing a champ for the first time. Nobody wants to let their teammates down.

We need to play some non-ranked games to practice new champs and team fights.

Also, even if someone gets the hang of a champ in the game, it doesn't mean their teammates do. If I don't know what visual cues to look for, and know what's coming, I might miss an opportunity. I know this from experience because nobody saw as many different champs night to night as me playing ADC because my support was always changing. :D

For Kayle, her recommended builds on SR are AP, and her recommended builds on TT are AD+Speed, so yeah, they built TT to be a fast slugfest.

I bet Tryndaqueer would be good in TT for that reason.

This is a good video on an auto-attack key binding that is really good for ADC's but will work for anybody. Leisher should check this out maybe you will get something out of this.

I knew of this from seeing something on it before and when i was playing Zyra the other night it made me think of it. Funny that they used Zyra in this video as an example because i had an almost exact similar situation the other night. i knew there was a way to chase people down or run away and get more autoattacks in (its called kiting, you may have heard of it before). This could help all of us if we get used to it, but it would take a little getting used to.

and here is another video on the smartcasting we talked about a week or so ago. its short but maybe it will help you understand it better.

This is an article i would like Cake to read. i know he keeps saying he has troubles building tanky bruiser from the jungle. Personally i always liked Spirit of Ancient Golem first, but i usually get Locket or Aegis as my second item. Infact when i run Nautilus if i get the gold i will purchase all three of these items and then add in a Warmogs. Super Tanky, i love this build.

Fizz was a tough lane match up for first time TF because he would jump over the minions and be on me instantly. Fine with other champs, but TF doesn't have a good escape. If I happened to have my gold card up, I could escape, but otherwise, I was toast.

I think I'd like to try out Fizz, BUT his problem is that he's tough early game, and damn near worthless late game. That Fizz got really fed early on, and then became more and more of a non-factor as the game went on.

I just wish I could stop picking third so I can try counter picking our opponents.

so are u saying u want to pick later?

Yes, but haven't we experimented with that and found it to be random?

Although, considering the guy who launches is always first, and I seem to always be third, maybe that's not the case?
