Here's a little lesson about leading this group of ex vets.

We don't have a "leader." Cake can't resign from that position, because it doesn't exist. We USUALLY defer to his judgment on situations from time to time, but not 100% always. We are all free to call the ball when we see an opportunity. I frequently say, "Push this lane" when I see a good situation. I frequently say, "Leaving this group to cover top" when we are getting beaten in team fights and we need to be split pushing. I also frequently ask for advice if I am not sure what I should be doing at any particular moment. I sometimes make a call and don't get the help I was expecting.

We don't like anyone saying "I am in charge now."

You would have a better chance if Cake hadn't said anything about putting you "in charge," and tonight just saying, "Hey guys, there is a strategy I want to try that is hard to explain, so how about let me call the shots in-game in this one, and we'll see how it goes?" You would have had unanimous acceptance. That would not have been bossy. That would have used tact to get people to do what you wanted them to do.

If you want a group with a clear chain of command, this aint the one.

Also, I aint quitting shit. This is the group I have been gaming with for about 20 years. If there are problems with people who have problems with authority, then that's too bad.

I've been called the team leader in many posts. So, we actually have had a team leader. I'm just so good at making you do what I want that you don't even notice it.

It is funny that Scooty:
1. Thought I had the power to name him as leader.
2. Didn't try to fight it at all and ran with it. :-)

Living with Scooty, and playing this game is getting hard. :-) So, rather than being told how everything is being done wrong, and how we should all play like him because he's the best at everything, I figured I'd just play the game the best I can and go with the flow. I told him I had three options:

1. Not play the game any more.
2. Not play the game with him.
3. Or not be team leader.

For the record, he doesn't trash all of us. He just has a 15 minute explanation about how I am wrong and he is right. It's getting old. :-) Plus, he's back to changing lanes and champs again. It's hard to have a team plan when it's so hard to keep everyone on it.

I feel like a little league football coach where all the dads come to me with suggestions on how I could be running the team better. Except there is only one dad and none of my kids listen to me. heheh

Looks like there's a patch dropping tonight.

No word on what will be included, but Singed and Taric nerfs are rumored.

Hey Stranger, do you buy the Ravenous Hydra for Hec?

No, i don't. I have been going with the Iceborn Guantlet for my last item, it just gives him everything he needs. I would consider it after my core build because it would work nice on him. I just find that items that give some tankieness along with damage are the best for him. Because when his W is on cooldown he is actually quite squishy.

I wouldn't mind trying it sometime though, i was building it on Shyvanna and i liked using it with her.

About time they nerfed Singed! As one of the lesser-played characters, they should be doing all they can to make him even less played. I mean, they reason you rarely see him now is because everyone knows he is OP and needs to be nerfed so they don't choose him just to be fair to the other team.

Singed is like Volibear, except way less cool cause he's not a bear.

Bears eat beets.

Bears, beets, battlestar galactica. . .

For those who fail to recognize the refrence. . .

FYI: We aren't rated on TT yet. So we are getting a mix of enemies. Which explains the first two games.

So we are 1:3 right now with that win. Not sure if we want to win any more before being put in a bracket.

Last night was fun. It was frustrating shaking off the rust, and learning the hard way not to play an immobile champ against a solid diving team, but game three I thought we were back on the same page as a team.

I will be on tonight and should be on around 9-10 Friday. Saturday is questionable.

As Ryze, top against Singed, I bought 2 heal potions right when the game started. 7 minutes later, Singed still hadn't touched me and I still had both potions. I eventually just let a wave of minions hit me before they got to the turret so the turret wouldn't steal the kills, and I used the 2 potions to heal the minion damage and free up the inventory slot.

As for the really funny, "I hate when the enemy Singed is better" comment, the problem is that when I am Singed I usually don't have 2 enemy peeps feeding me hard. He ended the game with something like 12 kills, and only 1 or 2 was from me, and I was the squishy one. The first time he killed me I looked at the stats and that was when I said, "How in the hell does Singed have 8 kills?"

So put your funny little sayings in a sack, those of you who have funny things to say about my Singed.

Just out of curiosity, have you considered what it means that Singed got 8 kills, and you didn't realize he was getting them until after he killed you the first time?

Did you also happen to notice that your Teemo was getting fed, and that we won that game?

Also, as an FYI, Teemo is the squishy one, not Ryze.

About time they nerfed Singed! As one of the lesser-played characters, they should be doing all they can to make him even less played.

We played 3 ranked TT games last night. Singed was in all three, and you didn't get him in at least 2 of those games.

Just sayin'...

So put your funny little sayings in a sack, those of you who have funny things to say about my Singed.

I can think of a couple things it means.

1. I was constantly saying "Singed is missing" and peeps were still exposed.

2. It was my first time in the top row on the new TT and I didn't have much a clue what I was doing. I eventually started coming to the bottom row, but it isn't exactly second nature to me.

3. As such, I was so focused on playing an unfamiliar champ in an unfamiliar role in an unfamiliar lane that I couldn't focus a lot of attention of how my teammates were doing. In my own defense, I responded every time you guys called me for help... which I believe was zero times.

And no, I was so fazed by the game overall that I didn't notice that Teemo was fed. No idea what the final scores were, but I knew I wasn't the feeder. It was more like, "OK Gordo be sure to hit your ult this time before the attack not like last time when you forgot." But by the end of the game I wasn't forgetting.

All in all, I really liked taking Ryze top. But don't criticize me for defending myself for a comment that was directed at me. Cake drew first blood, not me. In this topic, not the game. No idea who got first blood in game.

My point is, their Singed went 8/0/something, and ours never does that. . . I've said before, it seems you play more of a support Singed. You don't score many kills, but you enable a fair amount.

Top lane on TT is all about ganking. Ever notice how often I'm coming down to make something happen? I push my lane out a bit then sneak on down. Go back top, push lane back, repeat. That's what their Singed was doing. Which this time I'm not judging you, just saying. I'm not going to tease you for learning something new and missing some stuff. Now, 20 games from now, if you still aren't doing it. . . I'm going to tease you. :-) But ganking from top lane is easy on TT cause it's so close. We should probably gank from bottom lane more often too.

And I wasn't used to play against Singed on TT. By third game, had him more figured out. Even with his 8 kills, we still kept him under control (he got 5 more kills the rest of the game) and we won the game. Singed ain't sheeeiiit.

A few nights ago on SR my Singed, solo bottom against 2 guys, was something like 12/1/10. Because, as I said then, I had enemy peeps willing to feed.

If I recall, that team surrendered pretty quick.

But usually peeps don't want to feed me and I'm like WTF REPORT.

As for my top-lane, ganking, well yeah Singed was able to push minions and come down, because his gas clears entire waves in 4 seconds. Ryze doesn't have that ability, and unless I burn my ult/bouncy balls he can't clear minions very fast. Thus, they were always pushed to my turret and I wasn't free to come down and try to gank unless I was willing to let the turret take damage.

1. We suck and will always suck.

2. We should be sure to play out our series tonight, in case there actually are Singed nerfs coming down the pike. Of course, by saying that, everyone we play tonight will pick Singed before we do.
