Sorry I disappeared last night.

We got new carpet on Monday. Last night the wife came home from being out drinking and found our son puking his taco supper all over the new carpet. She started flipping her shit and it got pretty intense. Spent about 2 hours scrubbing puke carpet instead of playing. Lots of fun.

I would help your team the most by being on the other team.

But, no, I don't actually play. But if I did, I'd just make things worse.

If you want to learn, you can join us. It would benefit us in the matchmaking system by (usually) putting us against ANOTHER team that also has a noob or two. So it sin't like you wouldn't always be going up against pros or anything.

It is a time suck, though. Don't start if you can't commit. ;-)

Sorry I disappeared last night.

We were glad to hear that you didn't have a true emergency.

Although, you should know that after much deliberation, the group figured the emergency that was the gimp had gotten loose.

As for the games last night...

I will! Cake mentioned Sion aswell, in more of a snarky way than anything. . . Regardless, I'll be trying it.

I never saw Sion, Volibear, Taric, etc. nor anything I suggested. I saw you play TF, and then go mid with Ryze.

Although we didn't have success in the games you played TF, I liked your ability to get around the board.

I didn't like Ryze as much. In fact, I question playing Ryze since Gordo is playing him as well. I mean, it's fine if we have guys familiar with the same champ, but if we're trying to make Gordo not be as reliant on Singed, why take his secondary champ from him?

We REALLY need to examine our team comp and figure out how we compliment one another. The teams that dominate us have heavy CC and AOE. We handle everyone else. You'd think after playing this game for so long, we'd have this figured out.

I'm going to break our losses down into three simple things:
1. Enemy team comp. Sometimes there is simply nothing we can do about it. The pros don't face this issue because they don't play normal blind. We can't prevent our counter a Taric/Sion combo via normal blind.
2. Early feeding. We will never get really successful until we stop feeding. This applies to everyone. Those of us not paying attention, not warding, chasing, doing stupid things, making stupid decisions, fighting unwillable fights, etc. We need to stop giving teams 10+ kill leads. Fighting from behind can be fun, but good teams don't let teams come back.
3. Not pushing our advantage. Gordo missed the last game of the night, but that was absolute text book. The enemy team never recovered from our early success and we simply didn't let up. We didn't stall pushes, go back to shop every time we could afford one new item, we met them on our terms, etc. It resulted in one of the fastest surrenders I've seen in a while. Two of us never even died.

I played Ryze simply as an example. First game was tough, as everybody was feeding. Second game, very easy to show what Ryze COULD do with the proper build procedures and play. Its all about the chalice right off the bat, and using all that extra mana regen + blue every now and then to farm farm farm farm farm farm farm. 100 by 15 minutes, 200 by 30 minutes. This will allow you to then rush ROTA and so on. . . .

And if I may, seeing as Tim only plays Teemo, gimme a mid a few games? Lets see what happens. Singed is more than capable of running against 2 champions, and Teemo is a viable top as always. I'm just not good with the 2v1 and I'm tired of always failing and being blamed for my "unsteady" play. People don't seem to be interested in the "learning" process, so, somebody with more experience run it! I'll do what I know. 1v1.

Wow, now I am doubly sad I had to drop out, I missed getting schooled on how to play Ryze by someone who doesn't suck.

Since I did it all wrong. Got it.

FYI to all. I'm stepping down as team captain and handing it over to Scooty. And as his first act as team captain, I have been kicked off the team.

But seriously. I am letting him run the show from now on. So all tactical/strategical/etc questions should be directed at him. And I don't think I'm really kicked off the team, but, he did say that.

I'm sure he'll be communicating any changes in the near future.

Thank you.

We're going back to meta, and me and Leisher will be running bottom lane. I'll be taking Taric, Cake can go mid, Stranger Jungle, Gordo top. I'd request a MF as a lane partner? MF and Taric work amazing together.

I still quit, but if I hadn't quit I was going to say that I think it is OK to not do double jungle now and then, either as a response to their responding to it* or just to break us out of the routine of it.**

* Last night, the last game, they were pretty quick to pull one of the 2 damage peeps they had hammering me, so they had 2 peeps in the jungle responding to our double junglers. We never compensated for that by switching back to unbalance them again.

** I think we sometimes get into a routine of doing things a certain way and are slower to respond to changing battlefield conditions.

But I quit so it doesn't matter. uninstalled LOL and Steam.
