It was also amusing that Archer had no respect for brisket barbecue.

I am beginning to think about formulating a plan to contemplate making a pilgrimage to the best place for brisket in the country, this summer, with my kid.

Where would that place be?

The absolute best comes out of a food truck that roams randomly around Houston. It doesn't have a name and it's location is unpredictable. And that doesn't help you at all.

Most likely the best stationary brisket place is in some tiny town somewhere that I've never heard of. But my own personal experience would point towards Franklin Barbecue in Austin. But they're only open for lunches and the lines can be rather long. I had to wait in line three hours when I was there, but it was so worth it.

EDIT: There are quite a few other places around the state that are pretty darn good. If you do end up coming to Texas let me know where and I'll see what I can remember and/or find out. I guess it's possible some other states might also have good brisket places, but that seems highly unlikely.

Feels like when Captain Murphy died. On another note, goddamn, George was in everything.

Brisket sucks. You may as well make a roast, or soup or something if you're going to ruin meat that thoroughly.

What? I thought the series was already declared over and done.

Wonder how they're going to get out of the ending they wrote themselves into?

They drove a dump truck full of money up to my house! I'm not made of stone!

Dallas' dream season made anything possible in TV.

Watching reruns on FX. Show is growing on me.

I just watched the end of the latest season. That was clearly not the end. I don't think there was a doubt to the show's creator that he was coming back. I realize it seemed finale, but to me it was an obvious cliff hanger.

I do wish they'd get back to the spy stuff. The season was funny, but not as funny as when they were spies. More importantly, they need to go back to Archer being competent. He's the world's greatest spy and kicked a lot of ass previously. Lately, he's more Homer Simpson than James Bond.

Season 10 will be its last.

Honestly, this is a show that Adam Reed should have handed off to someone else. He invented it. He made it brilliant. However, he got bored with it, and the moment that happened he should have killed it or handed it off to someone else. That sort of thing happens ALL the time and is sometimes a critical step for a good property to take a step forward rather than backwards.

Exhibit A: Prequels vs Disney now owning Star Wars...

And to be fair it can suck too. Exhibit B: 95% of Marvel movies not made by Marvel.

Weird that they would announce Season 10 before seasons 6-9.

And when FXX came out, it was on a higher tier on DirecTV and I had to upgrade packages to get it because "The League" was also moved to FXX.

I will not be doing that again, if it is still the case. Will pirate the show like everyone else.

This is their way of trying to get people to watch FXX. Take popular shows and put them there hoping folks will follow. CBS is praying the same thing with their stupid new Star Trek series that will be only shown on their pay service.

I usually wait for the latest season of archer to hit Netflix.
