Biden is talking about gun restrictions by executive order, somehow bypassing the constitution. Again. Suggests wheels are already in motion.

I saw an Obama or Biden quote saying they needed to get something into place so this (Sandy Hook) never happens again.
Wow. Just wow.

So much insanity going on today.
Biden: "We don't know what we're going to do about gun control, but it's going to be something, and we will crawl up every orifice in your body to get you to agree."
Mr. Biden also hinted that the package of proposals would address the ability of the federal government to do research on gun violence, comparing the limits on federal data gathering to restrictions on the government’s ability to study traffic fatalities in the 1970s.
He said the government needed the ability to find out “what kind of weapons are used most to kill people” and “what kind of weapons are trafficked weapons.”
I'd like to add he works for the country which is the largest exporter of arms in the world.
Debt control: Ripped almost directly from the Simpsons, why not just mint a ridiculously expensive coin?
Piers Morgan: Protected personally by Obama, according to Piers Morgan.
New cabinet: Democrats not happy with picks from the minority-hating, bigoted, racist, sexist, xenophobic <s>Republican-helmed</s> White House.

On the other hand, maybe he just needs all those guns cuz other people have guns.

Then why not let his people have guns to protect themselves?
Also, there's a joke in there somewhere about his policies being so unpopular, and him giving himself secret service protection for life.

I'm sure it's just racism.

				Obama: Raise that ceiling.
Mr. Obama stressed today that raising the debt ceiling would not authorize new spending.
Throughout the whole of history on this planet, not enough bulls have lived to produce the amount of shit contained in that one sentence.

No mags over 10 rounds, and other insane rules.
"Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system."
...
"Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers."
Read as "bribery and legal thuggery."
"Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign."
Never been done before, I'm sure.
"Nominate an ATF director."
This would have stopped the school shooting how?
"Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations."
...
"Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime."
Those words are fucking meaningless. What specific things are you going to do?

				WE MUST DO SOMETHING!
I've had intelligent, educated people say exactly this: "I don't know what we should do exactly, but something has to change."
For the children, I guess.

I think those two adjectives no longer apply if they're going down the "let's change things solely because I have this nagging emotion" road.
It's as if the brains of some people only know how to work one half at a time: straight up logic (in which case the right brain shuts down and the person is no more effective than an automaton) or 100% feeling with no calculated analysis for follow up (in which case the left brain shuts down and all the cranial evolution granted to this species since it achieved sentience goes to naught). The above would be an example of the latter, of course.
For the children, I guess.
I'm reminded of Colin Quinn from SNL's "Weekend Update."
"From the future, Elian Gonzalez in the third-world tropical wasteland known as Cuba, watches for the first time MTV's Spring Break 2012 Wet T-Shirt contest live from Florida, and then goes on a shooting rampage while repeatedly yelling, 'Thanks, comrades!'"
Sometimes the children would kick the shit out of you, if they could, for what you did for them.

Yeah, but we approve of them overall far less than what B-Rock's rating is at. Isn't it just bypassing people we all mock for their incompetency? Due process has been holding us back too long. Let's do the monarchy thing.
