Change makes Gordon angry.

A spin on it would be that each team picks the OTHER team's champions! That way, the winning team isn't determined by a lucky draw of a champ they have experience playing.

Problem with that strategy is, is there ANY champ that Scooty hasn't played 25 times?

Just because he's played them doesn't mean he's good with them.

I loved the ARAM stuff. Very fun getting assigned a random champ and learning their abilities. I know it wasn't Gordo's cup of tea, but I'd be more than happy to allow him to pick among his secondary champs. I mean, Karma? Is there a worse champion that it could have given him?

Start waiting for peeps to get online about 9ish, surfing the web while I wait. Do all the surfing I can think of. At 10:10 I ask Leisher where the fuck peeps are. he doesn't know. We discuss that we are tired of these late starts.

So, I aint even waiting tonight. There's no word that peeps won't be on, or be late, and I am tired of sitting here.

Maybe tomorrow!

We have to figure out what to do with Scooty. His jack of all trades master of none thing is starting to hurt us. He needs to become good at something.

Where do we put him?

I'm not even sure what role he plays well at this point.

But I will probably take a couple of games off. After all, I don't want to have a fist in the side of my head and to be sucking 'it'.

You said something very dumb that would have earned you a fist to the side of the head -.-

Bullshit poking aside, I'll take adc. I'm happy with Tristana..
Vayne sucked balls, Caitlyn has a waste of an ability, and beyond that those are the only ranged adc champs I own.

I'm going to continue practicing with my Tristana, but I'm pleased with her ability to out-farm any champion in the game, out-range any champion in the game, and her decent set of abilities that overall make her quite threatening with all that farm behind her. Lots of fun to play.

Furthermore, I'm not sure why my builds are always questioned.... But until I'm given some sort of proof or ANYTHING really that states an ad build is better then a crit build, I'll continue to play my critical strike build (as it is really all I know, and have ever built/played).

I find it fun when every single hit from my champion does 927 damage in big 'ole red numbers, with 2 phantom dancers and berserker greaves behind them.

1 Infinity Edge
2 Berserker Greaves
3 Phantom Dancer

Zeal
Vamp Scepter

4 Phantom Dancer
5 Blood Thirster
6 Frozen Mallet

This is what I've always built, and I really like it. It's extremely effective late game, and I find it hilarious to watch champions fall like they're level 3 to my insane damage output.

I would have to say that Scooty has played a much better AD in during the laning phase than my experiances with him from before. Once the lane phase ended though there was quite a few times when the team coulda used a damage dealer around while he was farming. Or he would be way too far out and just get killed because he was way too deep into enemy territory. I understand the need to have good farm on your AD but we need that presense in the team fights too. So its a delicate balance that we need to figure out.

As far as early game, i think he has done pretty good. He has been way less agressive and he has done good waiting for me to initiate to go in and damage the enemy. He's also been good at countering the AD when they decide to try and focus me. His farm has been pretty good but there was many times that i would see him attack a minion a second to early and leave it with a sliver of life left just to have one of our minions take the kill. I would have to agree with Cake and saying that getting the early AD would help with this alot. I personally dont have a problem with building a crit build, but the early game is too important and getting that little bit of more AD would help with last hitting. So far of all the AD's i have supported for Cake is the best at last hitting minions (No offense Leisher). I've seen to many times where someone is just auto attacking away at the minions only to miss the all important last hit.

So im not sure what Scooty's best spot is but i think he has done ok at AD. We just need to tell him when he should be farming and when he should be with the team.

I'm not sure what's going on. We taking a couple days off?

I don't have an issue with a crit build, but become an expert at last hitting then. I take heavy damage early to ensure last hits early game because I'm not an expert last hitter. The easier it is, the more I get.

I've mentioned a number of times that farming is done between fights or while returning from a fight. If there are team fights, get your farm by killing (or assisting) enemies. Something I find interesting. . . When Scooty plays with us, he farms, ALOT. And he's slow about it. The other night when he was playing with Gordon and Leisher on TT, when he'd farm, he'd attack the spawn and hit it. As they got low, he would run around them, not hitting them, so his sunfire cape would finish them. It appeared that he was bored and his mind drifted away from the mission and he was just playing with the spawns. He did that over and over and over. When I'm in a game with him, I can't watch him to that degree, so I don't know how often he does this. But he did it in both TT games. He will take the time to finish farming a jungle spawn before joining his team in a fight. Leisher and Gordon were capturing the enemy alter. Two enemies contested it. Scooty was farming his jungle spawn that is closest to the speed/health boost. He waited until he was done killing the spawn before heading over towards the fight. Gordon and Leisher captured the alter, and didn't die, but they were hurt and it was close. So, it worked out, but Scooty could have easily farmed the spawn AFTER the capture instead of during. Watching him play with strangers (solo queue), he is WAY more team oriented. He will leave a spawn unkilled to join a team fight. Will be heading to some farm, but divert to an ongoing team fight to help support. Etc. WAY more team oriented.

I get the feeling that he takes us for granted. We HAVE to play with him. But with strangers, he's got to do well in order to impress them. Or so they might like him. Or, I don't know why. But I notice, over and over, that he plays with strangers the way he should be playing with us. He's aggressive without being stupid, he's cautious without becoming a nonparticipant.

So, all that being said, that's why I'm not sure where to put him. Because no matter where he goes, he places WAY too much importance on farming. Doesn't gank as jungler, because he needs farm. Doesn't participate in team fights as carry, because he needs farm. And he changes champs based on the last two games he played. He went Vayne for two games. During champ selection of the second game, Leisher asks "You're going Vayne again?" Scooty says "Yes, I'm going to stick with the same champ." addressing our long standing issue with constant champ changes. But, in both games, the enemy team was really good at focusing him. They would dive and take him out. So, third game, he switches to Trist. Why? Because she has that jump ability that can remove him from a fight in an instant. And he used it that way through out the third game. As soon as an enemy would make a move, he'd blast himself out of the fight. So, his champ selection was based on how the first two games went. THEN, watching him play with strangers, he would stay back from fights. Always close and ready to go, but at a safer distance. When the fighting would start, he use his jump ability INTO the fight. So, now he's in the fight, his jump ability damages the enemies when he'd land, etc. Completely opposite of how he was playing with us.

And lastly, we are still short on support. If Scooty isn't going there, someone else needs to step in there and start training it. When Stranger is missing, we REALLY feel it because we don't have anyone cross trained there. Scooty, at one point, said he enjoyed it. But when he supported me the other night, it got to the point where I was supporting him. He'd take a fair number of last hits, bought NO wards until after I bought the sight stone. I don't remember what his first item was, but it wasn't a support item. I can't remember if it was armor or damage he was building. I was completely zoned out because their blitz would sit in the unwarded bushes and grab us if we came out too far. Or, Blitz was off shopping, but we still couldn't come out because we have to assume he's in the unwarded bushes ready to grab us. Even after pointing out that we really needed wards, he recalled to shop, came back with no wards. That's when I recalled and spent all the money I had been saving on support items so I could get back to farming.

If we can get the consistant solo queue Scooty in our games, we'll be much better off.

I might be. I'm getting kind of tired of playing with Scooty. :-) Biting my tongue in team chat is getting harder and harder with all of his snarky remarks to ANY comment I make to him during games. I've made a resolution to not argue with him in chat any more. :-) But that just means he gets free shots in on me all game. Gets old. It will also make it easier to figure out a spot for him if the same 5 people play for a bit. Less scrambling around of roles when the team members all stay the same.

We 3. Everyone else comes and goes for girlfriends, weddings, drinkin night, band practice, broken mobos, etc. Other peeps are gone for weeks and months at a time. And that's fine. But we've been the core team for 15 years.

Right? :D

Seriously, if Scooty's attitude is causing you issues, then you're playing and he's not.

I've been his biggest defender, and that's never been more true, but if him playing is causing you and Gordo to not play, then he's got to go.

And not for nothing, but why isn't he playing support when Stranger isn't on? I mean, here you are saying he needs a role, and we need a backup support.

Also, since Scooty has played the most champs, why can't he be our utility man? Let him go where we need someone to play that evening. Stranger offline? Scooty's support. I'm out? Scooty is ADC, mid, or jungle. Gordo's out? Scooty is top, jungle, or support. Etc.

Also, if you're going to not play to protest, do it on the weekend. There's usually one of us out for some other reason, and this way, we can all plan ahead. (I'm out until later Friday...26 chicks at my house...Jeebus save me!)

That reminds me of the last time a hot chick came over to my house...

She had a broken computer she wanted me to fix.
