Also, yeah, sucks that so much of the film was already released in trailers and clips.... did they think they needed to build hype for the film? I'd already seen the 2 or 3 best moments on the internet.

Catt, that image is funnier than you think. There's a great story where Thanos does get everything and Wolverine doesn't fight him. He stands there and lets everyone else get killed. Thanos asks why and Wolvie says, "What's the point? You have all the power." So Thanos lets Wolvie tag along. Long story short, when Wolverine has the chance, he grabs the gauntlet, defeats Thanos, and puts everything back to the way it was.
Every fucking time.
I hope the movie has a different trick up their sleeve.
Catt said, "Not as good as the first one," but it is a different movie than the first one
Agreed. Great movie, but less of a fun, action romp than the first. This was "We're here so what's that mean to the world."
I think this one is beginning to deal with the fact that people stop liking heroes when their dinners get interrupted or they get killed by the super villains who counter the super heroes. This was hinted at in this movie... I think things are going to get a lot darker in the future.
Have you been paying attention in the Cap 3 thread? War is coming...
After that, we move to the next two Avengers films: The Infinity War Parts 1 and 2. (Not the aforementioned war...)
What I think will be interesting is how the tone of the film shifts with the new directors. They directed Winter Soldier, and let's be honest, it's probably the best Marvel film to date. Now they get the Avengers.

Director Joss Whedon has deleted his Twitter account, following criticism of his latest film, Age of Ultron.

I think it has more with deciding not to deal with insane feminists than anything else. Don't blame him.

Yeah, in-character jokes from a notorious womanizer aside, to suggest that Whedon doesn't ever "write strong female characters" is laughingly ignorant of his past work.

Joss shoots his actresses most lovingly when they're wet and crying and curled up in the fetal position, pressed up against a wall, broken, mascara running, bleeding, and reaching out. And what are they typically reaching out for? Some dude (or vampire or werewolf) and the dick he's attached to.

Bullshit. He shows women having a range of emotions, starting with that kind of vulnerability, and usually ending with the woman killing everything in the room.

Feminists are insane.

Doesn't mean he isn't a feminist.

Sure, rapists can be feminist, too.
I'm presuming he's a rapist because he has a penis.

We've reached an insane tipping point when the leftists of Hollywood aren't leftist enough for the extreme left.
And I'd argue the assertion that the article was written by a man.
