Do you literally mean you will never agree to take the matter to an arbitration panel? Because if you used "compromise" to mean weakening your position then you are using it wrong. That definition didn't exist before the 1700s, when a misunderstanding of the meaning spread through popular use, even though it was incorrect. Thus did the language evolve, and even though you are wrong you are right. Just like someone whose head just literally exploded.
