League of Legends - Trumped up Rock, Paper, Scissors
I think that since our BL2 run has ended, LoL will find it's way back to the top of the playlist.

My intentions, so they are known, are the same as my intentions every night. To play computer games. But last night, my head said "fuck you" and started to hurt like hell which forced me to lay down for a bit.
But, I wanted everyone to know my intentions. Cause apparently some people depend on them.

Only when we all appear in Steam and we thinking gaming is a "go" and so we wait and then after a while we shoot off a message and the person goes from "Away" status to "Online" status and there is no answering message and so we wait longer and then we say bad things about the person behind his or her back and she still doesn't show up and eventually we have been waiting for a long time and no gaming happened.
And all it would take is a simple, "I'm out" and everybody could move on with their lives.

i had no problems with lastnight. i was away from the computer most of the night just checking every so often to see if anything was starting. I also wasn't feeling so hot either yesterday. and i didn't even realize that i was in a chat when i logged off at the end of the night until Leisher texted me... anyways im good for tonight

							WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Played a couple of games as Naut. I was told he plays like Amumu, so I bypassed the bot game and went right to real enemies.
First game, I went 6/9/18 and his build is VERY different from Amumu's.
Amumu, I build the Crystal Scepter so my tears slow everyone down. Nuat has build in slows and doesn't really need slowing items and doesn't have a constant AOE damage spell like Amumu. So, I built tanky/healthy cause one of his abilities gets a bonus based on his health. So, I went:
The ancient golem thing.
Warmogs.
Frozen Mallet (because it was in the recommended list)
And started Crystal Sceptar (because it gave me health and stuff)
Second game I only made it to Golem and Warmogs before the enemy surrendered. Went 1/1/6.
Not sure how I want to build him yet. Amumu, I went tanky damage dealer. More damage than tank though. My runes/masteries were tanky/support and I took the scepter. But all other items were damage dealers (Rabadon's and Lich Bane). And I took the life stealing item from the jungle item instead of the golem item.
As far as abilities, that does play pretty similar. The anchor has a good bit more range than the bandage does. The shield is cool and has AOE, so, that might actually be a good fit for the crystal scepter. The ult is not aoe though, but, I do try to target the squishiest enemy with enemies in between. So, ability wise, he does play pretty similar. I might skip smite though. It will slow the early jungle down, but since I'm building tank and not damage, it gets to the point that it takes me forever to farm the jungle. My damage isn't scaling with the monster toughness. So, I don't think I'll be spending much time there after a few levels. I might change my runes/masteries to generate more gold/xp than they are now and rely on items for tanky/health regen stuff. But having ghost mid/late game will be WAY better than smite.

What are thoughts on using Yorick from the jungle? His little ghoul things, plus his doppelganger would be a pretty decent gank.
You can try it, but I'm not sure it'd work.
Yorick is an obvious top because of his ghosts. He also has an awesome ult, but we never see him. I wonder why?
Why not try Lee Sin? Or if you want an aoe tank with a slow and a stun, there's Malphite.

ive never seen a yorick jungle, but it got me thinking and i looked around to see if people do it. I found that his sustain in the jungle is awesome, his ghouls tank all the damage leaving you at full health to gank. But his ganks are a little underwhelming. He prolly is best served in top lane, but i would like to see what you can do with Yorick. Like we said before, if you're good with a certain champ and their kit then its totally viable.

Four members of Absolute Legends team caught cheating.
Worst apology ever...
No, it doesn't make LoL look bad, it makes YOU look bad.
My question is why isn't Riot simply removing them permanently? They blatantly cheated and admitted to it.
If Riot wants LoL to be taken seriously, and become the eSport, and get it into the Olympics, etc. then they need to prove they're legit.
Looking up at a monitor is a DQ, and you let that player come back. They did cheat, but it wasn't their fault you hung the monitors so they could see them.
However, players putting someone into the audience to watch those monitors and relay info back to them during the game is WAYYYYYYY beyond that. You don't plan all that out, and then not cheat again.

After this first game, we chose to knock out the spectator option to prevent the temptation.
We are sincerely sorry to TD and hope that this doesn't affect peoples' views on LoL as an e-sport.

I think any person can own with a character if they play as much as, say, that I do Singed.
I bought Orianna a year ago because I see huge potential in her, even though you rarely see her played. And then the other night, we saw someone owning with her. So, yeah.
Also, mastering the lesser-known character means peeps don't know as well how to counter them.

Well, I feel as good with Naut as I do with Amumu now. I'm learning to spread his stunning basic attack around to keep more of their team stunned. I'm learning the anchor range and speed for grabbing people. I'm even pausing my basic attack after pulling them in so the basic attack stun isn't wasted on the enemy who was just anchor stunned. I like dropping my ult on a far out enemy so it plows through the whole other team and then anchor grab the squishy one. I wait on my E so the slow starts after all the stuns take effect. Etc. He's a very crowd controly champ.

I'm slowly getting used to Graves. I think I had his build order screwed up for the first several games. I've noticed that I was getting a lot of assists, but not the kills.
He's much different from Ezreal though. Ezreal is far more mobile. With Ez I could be way back from a fight, and still be doing damage. With Graves I've found I need to be a bit closer. For example, if we were under a turret with the enemy team thinking about hitting us, Ez is much better at poking down their health without much risk. Graves is all risk because of his reduced range, particularly when comparing their Qs.
Try Yorrick jungle. However, if you do that, let's make everyone else is in their comfort zones...or at least 3 of the 5. That way, you get more a realistic feel for him. If all 5 of us are playing unfamiliar champs and get rolled...you might get the wrong sense of what he does from the jungle.
I still say his kit, not how others play him, makes him a top, but I do see how it could help him jungle too.

when I play graves, I buy the doran's blade, then farm enough to get the bf sword. Once I have that, last hits are pretty much guaranteed and you do a ton more damage to the enemies. Then I buy starter boots and the health/mana potion item on the next trip back. First 10-15 minutes of the game I'm farming and poking the enemies in my lane. I don't go for kills unless one is just handed to me. I don't want to make a bunch of trips healing/shopping and losing farm. It is SO important to out farm your opponent. And you can't do it if you aren't in lane. I will 'waste' my ult even if it's just to send them home healing, or cowering under their turret not getting last hits.
My runes/masteries are damage and attack speed based with enough damage added to make early game last hits easier. It's uncommon for my enemy to keep up with my farming.

So I told Trooper tonight that he has to play the next 50 games with the same champion. So here we go, lets see how long this lasts..... Being that he's basically filling in the support role in bottom lane with Leisher, he's spent the remainder of the night thinking up strategies and what not for different champions to see what will work the best. This is what he came up with....

I haven't had the chance to sit down and look at it, in fact this isn't even Cake this is Trooper posting ;D Hello everyone heheh.
Basically, what i'm going for here is a Support Rammus... I decided that in order to best compliment Leisher's Graves ADC, a tanky support champion would be the best option. Here's a quick run down of what I see going down in bottom lane!
I'll be very tanky obviously, so I'll be able to initiate whoever we may be facing in bottom lane without dying. The one thing i noticed tonight playing Kayle was that i couldn't really initiate anything without taking a substantial amount of damage.... Thankfully i had the heal and invul to keep me alive and book it out of the fight, leaving my ADC alone and vulnerable.... Thats bad.
With my Q spell (Powerball) i can build up insane amounts of movement speed to fly right into the enemy, stopping the enemy for 1 second on impact.
With my W spell (Defensive Ball Curl) i can put myself immediately into magic damage Thornmail mode, jacking my armor and magic resist up, while returning a percent of magic damage back to whoever is attacking me (Plus a certain percentage value more, based on my armor)...... Very effective.
With my E spell (Puncturing Taunt) i can taunt an enemy, reducing their armor... Obviously the combo is spelled out here.... Q up to them, W for the defensive bonus and damage return, and E somebody while immediately walking backwards towards my adc dragging them away from their teammate, further from their turret and help.
With me Ult spell (Tremors).......... It deals a CRAP ton of AOE AP damage to minions/champions/STRUCTURES!!!!!!!! Extremely useful for taking down turrets quick.
As far as the items go, pretty self explanatory. Lots of items to help catch and slow down the enemy team, with a few good Aura items. I didn't think it was necessary to go pure Aura items as I don't think that is really what playing support is all about. Playing support is about feeding your adc, be it through aura's or a plethora of enemy stat degrading items. Either i boost you guys, or i leech them.... In the end it pretty much accomplishes the same goal. Also have the banner in there to compliment my ult, taking out those towers EVEN faster.
The build is very situational, meaning i may pickup the SOTI before the Banner, or maybe i'll grab a sitestone in place of the Twin shadows....etc. The build is just a projected list of items i plan on purchasing every game.
Thats about all I've got, lemme know what you think.

First lesson we need to learn from lastnight... When the enemy has a Shaco jungle we MUST protect our red. He is one of the best invade junglers and prolly should get used to the fact that good teams will be invading more often, be it Shaco or someone else.
Second, i still think that us trying to help kill Shaco was the right idea. If he's allowed to run roughshot through our jungle it hurts in two ways. He's able to get fed and have good gank angles at us and it severly hurts our jungler. As you could see, Shaco was a huge problem for us and Alex barely was able to break 10k gold, so we were doomed. If we coulda killed him in his first invade it may have dettered him from trying it again and woulda helped fiddlestix along the way. Leisher was complaining that he had no minion kills once he got back to lane, but i specifically remember saying that you were even in minion kills once you got back to lane. So there was no loss there. But jungle was almost immediatly lost because we couldn't catch that damn Shaco, but i still think we made the right call.
Sure it maybe you could hear the Benny Hill theme song as we were chasing him, but Shaco is hard enough to chase down with his doppleganger. And you have to give the guy credit, he was a very good Shaco. I just don't think you can let a jungler invade and snowball the way he did. Not for a few minion kills at least.
