The Purge got drunk at a party, hooked up with one of the werewolves from Underworld and this is their bastard.

Frank Grillo is a special forces guy trying to protect his late brother's family. A few years back a "supermoon" took place and a whole bunch of people became werewolves. It's not really explained why. In fact, nothing is explained...ever. Now it's coming back and everyone is preparing like The Purge.

Lou Diamond Phillips is also here, but not for long. Kinda?

Anyway, this wasn't complete garbage, but it is garbage.

So, all the people who become werewolves lose their minds, right? They hunt humans and whatnot. However, the penultimate scene has Frank purposely becoming a werewolf...how? Your guess is as good as mine...and going toe to toe with a main baddie werewolf to save the day. How he maintains his thinking when other people turned and immediately lost their brains...again, who knows? The best part is this was, literally, just a few minutes from daylight coming. He didn't need to murder his neighbor (that's the big bad), but he choose to do so.
