Jurassic World Rebirth (2025)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Jurassic World Rebirth (2025)

iGen is somehow still in business despite the mountain of lawsuits they must have faced from citizens and governments, not to mention their crimes against humanity. Remember when they sent in teams of military folks to do whatever and those teams were shredded? Well, this time they don't fuck around and hire Scarlett Johansson...

She and a rag tag group have to get three blood samples from living dinosaurs. During this mission they end up encountering a family in peril. Why? Because it wouldn't be Jurassic Park if there weren't some kids, right? Oh, and don't forget the cute little baby dinosaur! Got to sell that merch!

Listen, the action is fun, the dinos are always entertaining, but you'll groan a LOT. This entire movie is one miracle after another, and a moment of teleportation at the end.

The big bad this time just has to be a troll job. It is hilariously stupid. It's called the "D-Rex" and the most fun you'll have is thinking up what that "D" stands for. When the reveal makes you laugh out loud, I'm going to say the creature designers missed the mark.

BTW, the opening scene is easily one of the dumbest in history. All I could think of is the old woman in the commercial saying, "That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works!" Just garbage writing.

I was entertained, although maybe not in the way intended, but I'd never watch this again.
