They do, but as sales of several games have now proven, they don't seek out hate gaming.
I've hate gamed, but it's because the item was already in my library and I didn't know I'd hate it. Plus, I'm mentally ill, also called a completionist. Most people do not keep playing games they don't enjoy. Again, all statistics back that up.
I'd also argue hate watching numbers are low, particularly now with SM. I didn't watch a second of the Acolyte, but did watch several YouTubers recapping episodes.
