Olympics are over, so let's look back at the highlights...

Also, I don't get the love for Ewa Soboda, other than people who love tats have bad taste?

It holds to my theory.

She's not by the best looking by a loooooong shot and those tats are hideous.

TONS of peeps saying XY chromosomes, internal testes, and high-T levels don't matter. Vagina and a good attitude = girl. Even though that's a mixed message, isn't it.

Medical report revealed.

Definitely supports those saying man more than those saying woman. I do not know if this supports or doesn't support hermaphrodite claims?
the medical report of the Algerian boxer indicated “an absence of a uterus,” the presence of “gonads in the inguinal canals” (testicles in her abdomen), “a blind vagina” and a micro-penis in the form of “clitoral hypertrophy.”

It also suggested that Imane Khelif was affected by 5-alpha deficiency.

Yeah, XY has to equal man, imho, though physical sounds like she presented as female.

I genuinely have no idea what a blind vagina is and I'm afraid to go look.

Apparently, the micro penis on him/her was visible, so does that mean they presented more as a male at birth and they grew up as a girl?

The implication to me was that their penis was thought to be a big clitoris.

It is becoming quite clear that despite all the times we have played one, we are not doctors.

I have absolutely no problem with trans people. Do what you can do, peeps.

But as soon as a person takes advantage of it to dunk on biological females, it is absolutely a dick move (pun). And they knew about the XY chromosomes long before the Olympics. So the boxer is a fucking asshole.

Like I always said.

edit - I would go so far as to call the boxer actively evil. Imagine those women they beat the hell out of, who worked their asses off to get to the Olympics, only to be matched with that person. That could be soul destroying.

IOC to ban transwomen from all female sports.

They never should have been allowed to compete in the first place.

I would have thought the fact that any of us could, literally, become Olympic athletes right now if we were curlers, was the only thing controversial about curling, but here we are...

I tuned in yesterday to see Snoop Dogg announce. Curling happened to be on. USA vs China. USA was down by two with three 'games' left. They were near the end of the first game they had to win. USA had to 'steal' this round. For those that don't know (I didn't), the team that shoots(?) last has a huge advantage as only the team closest to the center get any points. So a steal is when you win, even when the other team has one more shot to knock you out of the center. USA scored a clutch shot knocking China out of the center, and leaving a US stone in the center. And because of the strategic blocking they had setup, China had to make a VERY difficult shot to win. They actually parked the US stone behind a bunch of stone China had setup to block the US. So now China basically had to do the same thing, but failed. Then USA won the next round in very much the same fashion. Then they had to steel the 10th game to win over all. Again, the shot they made was miraculous. The way they slide the stones 75 feet down the ice, make them curve, have them stop within inches of exactly where they wanted it to. . . No. Curling isn't a sport that ANYONE can just do, and do well.

It was actually quick nerve wracking and fun to watch. But admittedly, part of that was because it was China. Had they been playing Paraguay or something, I wouldn't have been as invested. But really, had someone bet me a million dollars that I would actually sit and watch curling for 30 minutes, and really enjoy it, I would have taken that bet (that I would not be watching and enjoying curling). I mean, when the announcers said "this impossible thing is what they have to do to win", I'm like 'damn, no way that's happening'. And then they do it. They made the stone do exactly what they needed them to do. Ya. It was actually pretty cool.

I'm not saying we can head over there now and kick ass, but a little practice and yes, we could. Did you see the pictures from the last Olympics? All the guys have dad bodies.

I have actually been curling. It's fun. Practice would teach you the touch, techniques, and strategy needed.

Compare that to most events and even with loads of practice, we'd get annihilated by young, faster, thinner competition.
