This weekend, my youngest daughter (13) asked if we had a PC to play games on, because the game she already plays on the Switch updated versions faster on the PC. I had actually bought a gaming PC a year ago, but I've had little time or appetite for gaming. So I gave it to her.
Updated it, set it up on a desk... and installed Steam. Last day of the Steam Sale, the game she wanted was $9. (Stardew Valley).
