The "Support Love" banner is quite disturbing.

The second link...

What a fucking moron. I'd really respect it if one person politically motivated enough to blog for the Dems would stand up and admit that their party is corrupt too. Ray Nagin and the LA Dems killed people with their corruption and nobody cares. That idiot Dem senator got busted with cash in his fridge and nobody cares. Every other senator tried to defend his right to steal and not get raided and nobody cared.

But, Haliburton gets a contract and it's because of corruption...unless Bill Clinton gave it to them, of course.

And who are they "taking their country" back from? The majority?

Whoa, it was a Dem House member that had the cash in his fridge, not senator. And it was House leaders (Hastert/Pelosi) demanding the stuff to be returned, not senators.

Somehow, I still think the Senate is less corupt than the House. Not that that's saying much.

I apologize, I was going by memory. I stand corrected.

Although, It doesn't change my point at all.

I wasn't commenting on the elections. I was simply stating that Dems have their heads squarely up their asses if when they make stupid statements like the dickhead at that link.

Truth be told, I always thought things ran better when Clinton had a Republican congress to battle.

If we're going to be stuck with an ignorant two party system, I'd like them to be able to keep each other in check.

Someone at school found that exact comic. But he photoshopped out Don Knuth's name & put in the local algorithms guru that takes us drinking a couple times per semester.

Some a-hole who was flaming my forum used that for an avatar on another forum I traced him to.

It's hypnotic, but not in the pleasant way that I'd expect.

I thought this one was cute.
I heard Dan Rather compare this election to other elections during war time (WWII, Korean, and Viet Nam I think) and the political parties in the house and Senate switched about the same percentage as they did this time.
