Author says even with expensive headset he doesn't get it.

I agree. Every AR game I have tried on my phone completely suck.

I think VR has a much bigger future than AR.

I dunno, an AR headset that removed clothing from hot women might be nice.

Sure, but based on a) your preferences and b) what the AR software can figure out. Also, give it IR or whatever tech hardware-wise, and maybe it can figure out even more.

I think AR does have a future, but I see it as more specialized. Something that could bring up facts/restaurants/etc when exploring new places, or guide me when working on something around the house, etc. feels useful.

But honestly it's probably going to be 70% games, 25% porn, and 5% useful.
