I fixed BD's spellcards. Don't forget you have cool spells now.

Alex how many spells do you actually have - it seems like a ton on your spellcard? I haven’t done the math on your wizard spell allowance rules.

Tonight is ya'lls first real dungeon. I’m excited. The Crypt content is ready to roll.

The party has some work to do to make level 3 tonight.

I think you guys got this, Carpe Diem.

I thought we were in the crypt already?

I'm not super geeked on the Rogue's three options at lvl 3. Koban might change some shit up.

You guys are currently in a Stone Mausoleum, in the graveyard. That's where we pick up.

I start with 6 at level 1, and 2 additional per level. I can have prepared, some formula. 1 per level plus int modifier maybe? Something like that? I have all known spells on my spell page. There's a check box for prepared spells. So my prepared spells have a red dot on them. Without logging in, I have 4-6 prepared spells. I don't remember exact number. 2 or 3 cantrips as well.

Cool, sounds right.

Your spellbook got 6 level 1 spells at level 1.

Added 2 at level 2.

Of those 8 you can "prepare" a certain amount:

"You prepare the list of wizard Spells that are available for you to cast. To do so, choose a number of wizard Spells from your Spellbook equal to your Intelligence modifier + your wizard level (minimum of one spell). The Spells must be of a level for which you have Spell Slots."

So at Level 2:

4x first level spells prepared.
3x L1 spell slots

I just needed to look at your current list of spell knowledge for *reasons*.

there is actually a few more archetypes that you can choose from for the rouge. There is an expansion book for the PHB called the Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and the rouge has the Inquisitive, Mastermind, Scout and Swashbuckler. I've talked to Troy and i know he owns the book and he might be ok with you choosing one of those instead.

Here's a link to that PDF:

Since it's now in my inventory, I need details on that Silver Dagger. Apparently they come in different sizes and that affects damage.

Only silvered, per the PHB.

You and Ismark are now dagger buddies.

Is that what he meant when he said he wanted to "sword fight" with me later?

Map of the current dungeon so far, with party location in red. In the "Ritual Room"

Image

Thoughts:

1) I thought there would be a full on mexican stand-off or a fight in the Dark Well between the non-undead parties. Instead Mortigan triggered the well and everyone got attacked by the undead. I wish I had meant for that to happen. Being a DM is weird and awesome.

2) I'll read up on traps again before the next dungeon. I really just wanted to try the sound effects! On a good perception check the chest should have been "explosive DC 10".

3) Koban - don't forget about your gypsy charm when it comes to traps. Running out of the room was funny.

4) Ya'll were big time undead slayers this session. Body count of 12.

Actually, I'm available Sunday evening. Spring Break, no school Monday.

Friday will be a 50/50 chance. Florida, either traveling every day, or diving early mornings. But I'm willing to try.

Getting kind of late and not enough replies. I think Zelda would rather go eat dinner too. No game tonight - we can figure out a plan for next week.

Maybe if Gordon can't make next week we can do a shorter session, finish out the dungeon and do the rest of the day.

Pick up the following session with morning in the church.

With the session ending so early (11:00pm EST), playing during the week would be fine as well.

I have plans tonight as well so couldn't play. I'm available all weeknights though. I'd be available next Saturday if Friday falls through. But as of now, Sunday nights for me are booked.
