Yo, Mission Runners
So I just solo'd the level 4 drone mission. I didn't get all the cargo, cuz there was so much, but here's what I did get:
Trit: 11.6k
Pyerite: 25.4k
Mex: 18.2k
Iso: 20.5k
Noc: 12k
Zydrine: 3k
Mega: 600
Morphite: 93
Why, yes - That is 34 million ISK of minerals.
(On top of the 2.5mil I received as payment and bonus, with 3k LP; all in about 2 hours)

Can you skip missions your agent offers without penalty?
For example, let's say the agent offers a mission that only pays 23K. Can I decline and keep asking until he/she offers me one with a much higher payout?
(Assuming the low paying mission is not a part of a multi-chapter mission.)

So yesterday I started a hard level 4. I was able to clean up all the webbing/warping drones by jumping out, coming back a lot.
Gordo came over to help with the larger ships, and we started cleaing em up. It was slow, but we got down to 5 BSs.
Unfortunately, I had to go to sleep. So this morning I logged back on to finish the mission. Every ship had re-spawned. Darn, I though, back to the slowly taking out little ships. I blew one up, lined up my warp, and warped.
But I didn't warp. I just sat there. Stuck.
And blew up.
Oh well. I lost about 40mil on that (3 Arbs, 2 prototype Gauss guns, 7mil for the Ferox, some other stuff). But still, out of 9 missions, I was able to finish 7, 4 of which I solo'd. I made about 200 mil including LP rewards. So netting 160mil aint too bad.
The good news is I had a backup BS, so I'm gonna load him up and see how that goes.

That's kind of how I died the other day in a lvl 3. I jumped in, started lining up to warp immediately but was also targeted immediately, started warping right after I was getting hit, and never got there. Good 15 seconds between hitting warp and exploding.

I had read that those frigates could do that, but when they didnt do it the first time i tried the mission, i figured maybe i was mis-informed.
I'm trying out my Scorpion againt a Guristas mission right now. I've got 11.8k shields, so it tanks well. But can only do 4 missile launchers and 2 guns, so not so much on the damage. Although, with 3xBCS II, I have a rate of fire around 7.5seconds.
