It's impossible to argue with a void in logic.
Approx. 500 students and faculty protest the university president using a quote from Thomas Jefferson in a speech. Why? Because Thomas Jefferson owned slaves.
We now have to wipe Jefferson from history because he did something everyone else in his time did? Really? Someday smoking might be considered a form of murder. Do we then condemn every person who ever smoked and their words and ideas? How about meat eaters? Pet owners? People who spanked their kids? People who believe or don't believe in God?
P.S. You work or attend a university founded by the guy you want to pretend never existed! You fucking hypocrites!
