I said long ago that kids aren't eating off Michelle Obama's menu, they are throwing it away and going hungry. Someone else finally figured it out. But about 2 days ago I saw the trend starting with "random"* people stating, "It is better that these kids take one bite of something healthy than eat something that's bad for them."

*I think there are a lot of astroturfers out there on the payroll.

My kid goes to a good, rural school... and I have seen the crap the cafeteria serves (which the kids promptly throw away). I am not mad at my kid because he wants to pack 4 days out of 5. I just bought a good lunch kit and I can pack him some hot beef stroganoff (his fave) or homemade spaghetti or something, and thing of cherry tomatoes, and some vitamin-c gummis and a bottle of water with a flavor packet. He probably eats better and healthier then 90% of the people in the school, at lunch. I am glad the government is not yet stopping me from feeding my child.

And one of the press fact checkers did a fact check on that skit (I kid you not). Gave it a "false" rating. Our press might as well be wearing a jizz stained blue dress.

I think the Washington Post had to fact-check SNL because earlier they fact-checked the White House about the "Bush did it too" stuff regarding the amnesty.
